Looking for a new pizza spot led me to Brooklyn Pizza Parlor, located at 7725 Colony Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226. Here’s what I ordered:

Meatza Pizza
This pizza comes with pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef, and ham on a thin crust. Overall, I needed more sauce. Without it, the pizza felt more like an oversized breadstick, and the toppings didn’t blend together the way they should have.

Buffalo Wings
I asked for them fried hard, but it seems that request was overlooked. The buffalo sauce itself had good flavor, but the wings just didn’t hit the mark—the meat wasn’t very appetizing.

I would consider giving them a second try because the menu has a lot to choose from, but one employee (who seemed like a manager) really dimmed the experience.

While I was there, the phone rang. She walked over, picked up the receiver, slammed it back down, and said, “Oops. I guess they didn’t want anything,” then laughed and walked away. Truly terrible customer service.

Having been to several NY pizza joints, this is very close to NY. Great staff. I got the White and the Nonna (corner, not a side lol). Definitely recommend!

Really good vodka sauce, the trio nonni was my favorite. Definitely my style pizza the cheese pizza was a little underwhelming. The meatza was okay. The staff was great, lots of indoor out door seating. Lots of parking it’s located in a shopping center

I ride by this location daily on the way to and from work. Today, me and my son stopped by and we were absolutely blown away. We usually go to Hawthornes Pizza when we have our pizza fix, but after today’s visit, that will change immediately. From the different slices we tried, to the customer service and atmosphere, hands down the best pizza around. Great job guys. We will be returning soon!

Absolutely terrific service! Staff is super attentive, and it’s really nice to be asked if you want your beverage refilled when your cup is only half empty…and not just once, but for as long as you are visiting. Everyone wears smiles and has a good sense of humor. The food selection and the pricing are unbeatable. It isn’t fine dining, but for some great casual dining, I love it!

I’m a pizza carnivore. I didn’t know what franchise pizza was until i was like 10 years old because everything in our area was authentic NY pizza. Saying that, i will say that a few days prior, i stopped at another NYC pizza joint called Tony’s, and they definitely impressed $10 for 2 slices & a drink but the size and flavor was worth it. So, a few days later, I was working in this area and saw the name of the establishment, and I checked the reviews. I was sure that the pizza was going to be amazing. With a name like Brooklyn Pizza, you will think that they will live up to the NYC standards, especially for the price I paid $10+ for 2 slices and a drink. Not at all. I got a Sicilian slice and NY slice, the slices were small the Sicilian was dry and lacked sauce this kind of pizza supposed to be heavier on sauce due to the thickness of the bread the other slice was breaking apart and the cheese consistency wasn’t there. Both slices came in a 10 in box, and there was plenty of room left. On the other hand, the other place I visited serves their slices in a big box or on a large pizza pan if you’re eating in because the slices are so big. You can’t fit a Tony’s slice in a 10 in box without folding it. I’m attaching photos of Brooklyn and Tony’s lunch specials for your comparisons. Brooklyns pizza is in the box , and Tony’s are on a pan. Brooklyn Pizza, my advice is to step your pizza game up and stop trying to stretch every dollar and give the people their money’s worth.

Nah! Not for me personally. Pizza was extremely oily. Just not a fan. My kids liked the NY style slices maybe more suited for younger crowd.

Overall pretty solid. Got the impression nobody orders much pasta from here. Ordered garlic and oil w/broccoli. Barely had any oil, and no garlic anywhere in dish . Pretty limp bland pasta game

EXCELLENT NY style pizza & the slice of stuffed meat wasn’t too bad either! Manicotti was cooked right where it should & staff was super friendly & attentive throughout our whole lunch. Only negative to contribute would be that it’s a bit pricey but I mean… you get what you pay for & it certainly was delicious! (Remainder of a “regular” size pizza wouldn’t even fit in the box to take it home. It’s HUGE.)

This is my new “go to” place for comfort food! We recently moved from Cotswold and have been searching for good food close by our new house. Brooklyn Pizza is my favorite so far! The pinwheel is my JAM! Packed full of flavor, and more filling than one might suspect at first glance. I also dig their “Meatza” slices. Again they do a fantastic job balancing flavor so that nothing on the slice takes over the entire taste profile. My wife says their salads are on point too, and our daughter praises the pasta. Basically you can’t go wrong with Brooklyn.
