Was given a caesar salad that was dates for expiration today, 3/9, and lettuce was visibly browned. Not what I was expecting from a sub shop claiming to usw the freshest ingredients. Needless to say I won’t be eating it so it’s a waste of $10.
After waiting a couple minutes in my car beyond the estimated pickup time, I did have to go inside to know my order was ready, because I never got the confirmation text that it was ready for pickup. Not a big deal, but notable since it was the only order on the counter. I used to frequent this place up in Syracuse NY, and was excited to hear they opened a shop here, unfortunately this experience was lacking. Ordered two subs, bag of chips, and the salad, and price with tax and a $7 tip was about $58. The subs were pretty good, but to spend that much for a salad, and include a 15% tip to get the brown lettuce salad is a letdown.

I love how they prepared my Food at this Restaurant. I got a Whole Pastrami Sandwich and a Half Reuben. My Pastrami Sandwich was delicious, it had plenty of Pastrami and was topped just right. I definitely will eat here again.!!

We placed a catering order for our fall event at work. The manger was very nice and took the time to explain how their catering process works to my coworker. It was a very stress free experience. The sandwiches and sides (pasta salad, Broccoli salad) were delicious and a good size, with no complaints from anyone. Everyone enjoyed it! I’ll definitely be ordering a sandwich on my own time and for future events as well.

Great deli with super friendly staff. Bread and all the ingredients were very fresh. Loved that they had a variety of chips to go with our choices and that they had Dr Brown sodas. They had a deli fridge stocked full off salads, desserts, and of course pickles. The chili was good but was a basic chili. The chefs special for the day was a Neptune’s Gumbo which I was blown away by. It had huge chunks shrimp, clams, and veggies: I could have eaten this all day it was so good. The banana pudding was a typical pudding but still good. The reason I did not give this place a 5 because of the Cuban. My husband is Cuban and is very particular about the sandwich. They did not have Cuban bread so the sandwich was made on a super soft (because it was so fresh-which normally is great for sandwiches, but not for Cubans) sub roll. They also did not have any way to press the sandwich, which is another downer. They were accommodating in mixing the may and mustard together, but they could only put the sandwich in the sandwich toaster to get it hot and melt the cheese. Other then the Cuban issues the restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms, and very laid back environment.

Actually I door dashed a meal from here today. Food was so good I had to give a google review. My order was a bowl of chicken noodle soup, half chicken salad sandwich on white, with tomato and a slice of provolone. One pickle as well. Everything was amazing!!! Thanks to the team over there. Can’t wait to try the Pastrami sandwich and Matzo soup. I see why this is THE BEST sandwich shop in the Capital City

The first time I went, I got a beautiful pastrami & corn beef sandwich on rye. The 2nd time I went it was an Italian that was so/so and this 3rd and last time was a roast beef hero with tomato & mayo. It has one pore of roast beef folded in half and the tomatoes were outside of the sandwich laid flat on the top of the opening. Considering it went from great to terrible in 3 visits over 6-months, I’ll forego the 4th trip.

Came here today for lunch. I got a 1/2 BLT and a side order of the homemade potato salad. My husband got the 1/2 Cuban with a side of pasta salad. Both were really excellent and we can’t wait to come back. We noticed the employees kept the prep area very clean and changed their gloves frequently which we appreciate.

If you’re looking for a Italian deli/want the taste of that, this place ain’t it. The subs taste like hot dog buns. However, if you’re looking for a deli that feels/taste like you’re going to a baseball game this would be the perfect place!
