This was our first visit to Brooklyn Dumplings in Philly and we were favorably impressed. The chicken lemongrass soup was light yet flavorful, though perhaps a touch too salty. The crispy bok choy ginger dumplings were golden and bursting with aromatic flavor that paired well with their dipping sauce. The Korean BBQ ribeye was a standout …tender and juicy. Overall, good for takeout and will be back-

It’s okay, I’ve been twice now and it’s pretty cheap and their bowls are good. The quality of meat they use is really good in their dumplings. I think my favorite so far has been the Kung Pao Chicken dumplings. I do wish they had more vegetarian options.

the atmosphere was very nice the store was clean and the food was good. The prices were very manageable as well. The service was not as nice as the store, food, and prices. The lady behind the corner did not greet you upon us walking in. She was not helpful and most importantly the sign read that each combo came with a drink and side of your choice. When ordering my combo which was the burger and dumplings I did not receive a drink and side. I was told it was because I had not selected a combo which offered a drink and side. I then showed the lady (greeter/cashier) the sign she shrugged her shoulders that she didn’t know and proceeded to shoe combos like the pick three which offered an entree, dumplings, and side. I stated that again the sign says each. She shook her head no and did not honor the sign I felt completely ripped off and as if the sign was false advertisement.

Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from Brooklyn Dumpling again after this experience. Our order arrived incomplete, the cucumber salad was just a cup of plain cucumbers, and the dumplings were small and disappointing.! Really let down—would expect much better from management.

Portion sizes for dumplings were small but expected after reading reviews. The bowls were nice sized and filled to the top.
My husband loved the apple pie dumplings.
Unfortunately my peanut butter and jelly ones were just hardened balls of dough with warm peanut butter….no jelly drizzle nothing but a hard shell and bland peanut butter.
We will most likely order again because it was delicious fare, and I will cross my fingers that I get a better result next time

I had the Korean spice tempura bites they were amazing! The place was spotless and Laura the server was extremely helpful and nice even with the place having a long busy line she took her time with every customer. She is much appreciated and I think every service should have someone like her to make you enjoy your experience.

We came in here for a late night snack and ended up with a FEAST! The dumplings are amazing and burgers were better than most places that only serve burgers. Jennifer was an amazing help when we mixed up an order and she brightened the whole meal with her hospitality and smile, we’ll back for her… and the food 🙂

just spare yourself coming here. seriously. i ordered the bao buns, firecracker chicken bowl and dumplings. i ate the firecracker chicken bowl & sensed something slightly off, but finished it. i looked through the reviews and saw a few instances of them serving raw chicken and i immediately recoiled because i think what i had was raw as well. i am writing this on the toilet absolutely spilling my guts out. luckily i think it’s mild food poisoning, no fever yet. but i can definitely say that the chicken was probably raw. it had a chewy, very interesting smell to it. i thought it was the breading since it was initially very soggy but it most likely was raw or contaminated. just do not trust this place. idc if someone had a good experience, its not worth the gamble.

We got the bowls with plant based chicken. Completely drenched in sauce and plant based chicken is just vegan nuggets lathered in sauce. Dumplings were also very small.
