No sign to let you know there’s a $5 per person cover before you want to enter just to buy food and drinks. A wait for a small $16 pizza and it was good enough but mostly cold until we got it. $2.50 per donut. The prices for food are pretty high. We did enjoy the free hard cider tastings but 4 packs are pricey so we skipped taking any home with us. Music was tasteful and good noise level and overall atmosphere was fine but we’ve been to less expensive orchard venues in NY that didn’t have a cover fee and were nicer.

Really nice cider house in an idyllic setting. What an amazing place to relax and enjoy a refreshing hard cider after hiking at the Gunks. The menu has freshly made Neapolitan style pizzas and burgers. I opted for the pizza and salad and both were delicious. Friendly staff explained the ciders and helped me choose.

FYI they also have beers from Industrial Arts and is dog friendly outdoors. 10/10

Entrance fee is $5 plus tax per person. This doesn’t get refunded if you make a purchase. We did apple picking first. The ones they said were ready to pick were past picking, trees were bare. Since we got there early, there was no line for the food. Apple cider donuts were good. $12 plus tax for 6 donuts. Pizza was good. The canned ciders were overpriced IMO. A pack of 4 cans were $20.

Went in early September and got to pick some apples, try their ciders and German some food. It is easy to spend an afternoon here with friends and family.

Super kid friendly space and also super pet friendly. There’s so much space to roam around and lounge.

Pizza was great (better than the other food menus) and the price per bag for apple picking wasn’t so bad.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Brooklyn Cider House. The service felt disorganized and inattentive, and it didn’t seem like customer concerns were taken seriously. The cider selection sounded interesting on paper, but the quality didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the prices.

The atmosphere also felt more focused on image than substance. Instead of offering something unique or thoughtfully crafted, it came across as trying too hard to follow trends without delivering real originality. Overall, it didn’t feel like a place that values its customers or contributes positively to the local scene.

I wouldn’t return, and I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

Beautiful place! We tried the flights of cider from dry to sweet-all good and decent prices too. Our party also ordered burgers, which were great, and the pizza as well. Loved sitting by the fire and watching the sunset. Picked a few apples, not the sweetest but would definitely come back for the other things and the view. Loved the sparkling apple cider. All the workers were helpful & clean restrooms. Recommend!

Despite the heavy downpour last week, we enjoyed delicious pizzas and hard cider at Brooklyn Cider House after an 8 hour drive into New Paltz. To get to the food service, you walk through the Tasting Room and down the path to an open air pavilion with the ovens. Due to rain, the pavilion was packed, so we brought our takeout to the Tasting Room for the best of both worlds! It was quiet with comfortable wood tables, and they provided us with plates, napkins and utensils. We shared two cider flights and got 4 takeout pizzas — 2 Dragon’s Breath, 1 white mushroom and 1 pepperoni. The guys in the pavilion had told us each person would eat about 2/3 of a pizza and he was right as we had what amounted to just over a pizza in slices leftover. The Dragon’s breath was our favorite with its unusual combination of chorizo, cilantro, jalapenos, sweet onions, hot honey and two cheeses. The hearty slices of mushrooms were full of flavor and a close second, and the pepperoni formed those highly sought after cups with slightly charred edges that is hard to find these days. Kinda dry cider was my favorite cider, followed by raw, but there was little agreement among my family which makes the flight format so fun. We all got to enjoy our favorites.

This is a great place to bring the family for a nice relaxing evening. They have two ponds on the property to sit by and they have beautiful willow trees. For food they have great brick oven pizza. The burger is good, but only a bag of chips as a side. I hear great things about the barbecue, however it’s always out when we arrive. They have cornhole and other games. Their cider is good and they let you taste before you buy the glass or a flight. Perfect place to watch the sunset

Stopped here on our way back from up north. The food was amazing. We had a pepperoni pizza with mushroom, a cheeseburger and a kale and beet salad. Everything was good. The staff at the cider house was super friendly. They let us try all of the current ciders on tap and in bottles. My favorite was a strawberry cider. We bought a few bottles home for gifting. The grounds were very nice with plenty of picnic tables. Will definitely return here on our next road trip up north. We were told that would be many crowds and long waits for food during fall or apple picking season, so don’t come here during that season if you hate crowds
