I am completely in love with Brooklyn chophouse, every time I have visited New York I come here for dinner. I’m always treated so well, the staff is amazing & so is the food. This time I ordered everything fried rice and orange chicken. My mom had the pork chops and Sister ordered steak which was immaculate, they have a great sauce, but you really do not need it. Everybody at the table had fried rice because it is that good. The rice is so good, I never want to share, but all of their sides are shareable for 2. It was seven of us that dined here & the service was really good. I usually go with the big party and everything is always amazing. I love to sit in a booth right in front of the TV, it’s literally my signature place to sit because I’ve been seated there every time I come. BCH always has great music. You have to give it a try the vibe is always great when I come. See you next time a round Brooklyn chophouse! <3

Valentine’s Day from hell . I booked reservations for in advance for Valentine’s Day I started receiving texts and emails demanding me to pay for the reservation in advanced because of the holiday and then informed there would be a limited menu . If I initially booked and they required payment fine but this wasn’t service forward to demand pay in advance or lose my reservation. $175 per person we were seating in some room it felt very segregated in terms of crowd if you know what I mean and then the food. Smh for $175 per person I would loveee to know why my food arrived ice cold then sent it back which we felt terrible for because the server was great but she bought the food back and it was freezing cold again, had it been hot I could see potential the food was not bad at all the lamb chops probably the best but the experience put a bad taste in my mouth over priced hype and consumerism got us I n a choke hold but I won’t go back here again! Do Not believe the hype. The service was very mid. As a first time customer the waiter couldn’t recommend favorites on the menu such as drinks or food. She was managing multiple tables and service was extremely slow.

The food was okay, nothing to rave or hype. Ordered a Tomahawk steak and I’ve had better. It was cut poorly and very thick slices.

I did not feel like this Steak House was an experience, the servers barely knew english, rushing to clear the tables. I honestly was shocked knowing people have reported differently.

Crowding when trying to move around, not very spacious. Very small atmosphere.

Would I try again? Maybe with one additional person. Not a group.

Upon arriving from out of town i decided to stop in with my manager to grab an bite to eat. We were asked if we had a reservation however my manager couldn’t find the reservation so we decided to stay at the bar which at the time was closing due to an event so chairs were being moved we didn’t initially have a location to settle in. It was an event about to take place and so the event team was getting things set up while people were coming in which I didn’t think was a great idea. We were able to order food which I thought was nice of the staff to let us still order a chat by the bar. We ordered the salmon and veggies with white rice and some type of sweet sauce and when I tell you was amazing it came out hot and super delicious. The drinks were also delicious and we also ordered spring rolls and by the time the drinks settled in I hadn’t had a chance to try them. It was a great atmosphere once the event staff stopped moving things an so fourth but other than that I had a great time with great food and drinks and I also was able to enjoy the photography options they had at the restaurant I would love for all restaurants to have them available a great touch.

The only food I ate on 2/7/2026 was from brooklyn chop house. I’d didn’t have any alchohol, just diet coke and lemon water. The one item I had sent back was the philly cheesesteak dumplings because they tasted a bit rancid. I sampled a couple bites of all the other things I ordered, but didn’t eat everything and took most of my food to go. However in less than 4 hours after leaving I vomitted 4 times and have had diarrhea. The person that I went to the restaurant with also reported abdominal cramping. I went to the doctor the following day to confirm that I had food poisoning. There was something viral in that food unfortunately! I believe I spoke with a host on the phone to notify them about this, but no one from management has gotten back to me. I have also filed a 311 report, because this is unacceptable.

Also even with a reservation we had to wait about 15 mins to be seated.

I had the food before through Uber Eats but actually went to the restaurant this time. I thought the food was delicious. The service was really good. I was surprised though that on. Friday at 7, the place was practice empty. I had the chicken fried rice, lychee Martini, ginger beef noodles and my cousin had the shrimp. The portions are sizable and I couldn’t finish all of it. The prices are high so just be aware of that, but overall, pretty decent dining experience. Probably a great place for date nights or girls nights or birthdays.

Everything was great. Came here for pre show dinner. The service was great he was very nice. Ordered the French onion dumplings, bao buns, pork chops, rib eye, fried rice and broccoli. Everything was delicious!!

The ambience of this place is quite nice—welcoming music sets a great tone and helps keep you entertained while waiting or enjoying your meal. However, the food itself wasn’t cooked to perfection. I found the calamari and salmon to be extremely salty, and the same went for the rice and filet mignon. Customer service could also use some improvement in terms of attentiveness. Overall, it’s not a bad spot—definitely not the best, but if you’re curious, it’s worth trying at least once.

We ended up tipping generously on top of an automatic gratuity that was never disclosed. The menu only mentioned a 20% gratuity for parties of 6+, but nothing about an 18% charge for smaller groups. Our server also didn’t mention it. I only noticed the next day, after sobering up, that we’d double-tipped.

As for the food, the lamb chops and frozen drinks were the only highlights. The ribeye was a poor cut with way too much fat and came with no sides. The bok choy was a large portion, but the slimy dressing made it unappealing.

This place came highly recommended, but overall, we left disappointed, especially after realizing the hidden 18% gratuity on top of our tip.
