The place was cute with an old time Italian feel. The spaghetti and meatballs was very bitter and did not taste well at all. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo did not have a flavorful taste, very bland. The stuffed mushrooms did taste good. I was really hoping this would be a great spot since so close to home but was not my favorite Italian place at all.

This place I would NOT recommend. Went here for my mother in laws 80th Birthday dinner and it was disgusting. I don’t normally post on these but please save your time and money. The food was luke warm, full of oil and grease and just the most disgusting Italian food I’ve ever eaten. I hate to complain but it was that bad. It’s so dark in there you have to use your flashlight to see the menu. I ordered Alfredo pasta which had so much oil couldn’t even eat and it was cold. My boyfriend got a pasta mix combo and all of it was cold. Bread so hard on the appetizer it could break your teeth. The wait was so long for cold food. The money you spend is not worth the cold food you get or long wait and bad service. Won’t be returning…

me and my boyfriend had dinner here tonight, we paid around $90 including the tip which I wouldn’t have minded paying however my food was average at most and my boyfriends was almost inedible. I tried some from him as he thought maybe it was just him, but it genuinely made me gag. We felt like throwing up. The only good part was the steak on his meal and the shrimp on mine, as well as the tiramisu. I don’t recommend if you’re looking for good Italian food, we won’t be returning.

We ate at Brooklyn Bridge this past weekend and the food was delicious and the experience wonderful. This is the second time we’ve been in the past few weeks and it’s one of our new favorite spots. I got the fried eggplant appetizer and it’s perfect — crisp eggplant and delicious marinara. I also got the spinach lasagna (we’re vegetarian) and my wife got the Bari pizza and both were delicious. Great mixed drinks too. Highly recommended for a nice night out.

My son took me there for Mother’s Day. God love him because as his Italian mother he thought I would be impressed. I was not. Olive oil too light ( could not be olive oil, my country does not have what ever that was) and lacked flavor. Salt lacks in all the food, overall bland. Where is the pepperoncini and garlic? Bechamel was gritty. I could go on but my biggest disappointment was the incredible, edible, eggplant! I don’t know why but the eggplant was sliced too thin and overly breaded, a big no,no. So American. I ended with slices of overly “fried” breading with little eggplant. You are Italian when you can cook the fruit of the gods without heavy or no breading of eggplant!!!!! Ps, take the pit out of the olives on salad. My god ,I need to stop because I could go on. Italian food is far beyond what Americans know and this restaurant does not do that.
