We started with the pinapple matcha which was really good though very pinapple forward! Then we got the avocado toast and chilaquilles. They were both great! The chilaqulles was nice and crispy with a slightly spicy tasty sauce

Great place for a family breakfast!; it was busy but we didn’t have to wait.

Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful. We ordered the mommy omelette, the crunchy french toast, coffee, and juice.

The place is modern and very cozy!

We ate here twice during our five-day visit – breakfast here is so, so yummy! Service is fast and friendly. The lemon blueberry pancakes are absolutely divine. Everyone else at the table devoured everything quickly. Absolutely recommended!

It was our last day in San Diego, and we decided to go there. For that purpose, it was a decent option since the food was prepared fairly quickly. Aside from that, though, I didn’t find it to be anything special. The atmosphere was mediocre and nothing memorable. The food was okay—not particularly fresh—although the menu did offer a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing; the waiter was not friendly and didn’t seem very attentive or professional.

Broken Yolk is great for portion size and flavor! Been to multiple locations in different states and it always hits the spot. Service was fairly quick and server was friendly. Our table order a variety of breakfast items that nearly all came out together and had no issues. Will definitely be back at some point!

Great breakfast spot, they have options for all tastes. You can have sweet, spicy or savory. I had the Chilaquiles Bowl which was spicy and great. Service was great from the host up to the server, we did not even have to wait long despite a busy day. PS it was also kid friendly.

Cinna-cakes were bomb! My wife loved the avocado toast as well and my kids loved the sausage and the chicken strips! First time having breakfast and San Diego and definitely my go to everytime I come back to the city.

Fantastic place for breakfast and lunch to escape the Gaslamp craziness. Great for families. Expect it to be busier on holidays and weekends. I love going midweek when it is quieter to get some work done away from the office while having a relaxing brunch.

The service is fantastic! They always keep my coffee filled. Kiara is usually there, and she always goes out of her way to make me feel at home.

Recommend it to everyone!
