We absolutely love The Broken Yolk! Every time we visit from the North, it’s a must-stop for us. The food is always amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The staff are friendly, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
We really hope the corporate team considers opening new locations in the North Bay Area and Greater Sacramento region. We’d be there all the time!

My family had brunch here on a Saturday and waited 35 minutes on the Yelp wait list, then it said “enjoy your meal” so we thought we’d be called soon. We waited ten more minutes and then asked the staff members, who claimed we had “fallen off the wait list” because too much time had passed. They eventually were able to seat us, but the long wait and confusion was unpleasant. Their food was good breakfast fare with average prices. The lemon and the ricotta in the lemon ricotta pancakes was very subtle and natural. They do give a free blueberry muffin if it’s your birthday which was nice.

Went here for breakfast. We had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon. Tasty, but needed a bit more salmon. We also had the monte Cristo sandwich, it was delicious. Hash browns and home fries were also great. My coffee was very bland and a little cold, my boyfriends coffee mocha took forever and came cold. Service was good.

From the moment we were seated, she was very attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She consistently checked in on us, made sure everything was to our liking, and provided quality service throughout the entire visit. This place went through a serious rough patch a while back like 2 years ago. I think they replaced the cooks. The food tastes MUCH better like when I first fell in love with the place. Burgers were juicy, omelets were packed, beef cooked to order just how I asked. The food was extremely savory, portions were proper big, ans prices were fair. Wife and I will officially be making this our breakfast place again on our days off.

Food on point. Authentic Jamaican food, grocery and drinks. Order anything from the menu, you won’t be disappointed.. No rude staff either, not all Jamaicans are mean let me put that out there… Patties, Jerk chicken, oxtail, curry chicken/goat, plantains / callaloo festival, rice, banana yam, we orderef it all. It was good… Dining area clean. It may not be fancy but it is great for eating your fav Jamaican food.
