Feel like having a meal at home, because every dish here is so simple while with a lot of hearts
Caprese here served by Brogino’s is flavorful, the sliced tomatoes, the mozzarella, the basil, and the sprinkles of Parmesan cheese, and of course the olive oil and vinegar, ideally blended together, you will not stop having the next pile of it.
For main dish, I ordered Chicken Piccata, made of thinly pounded, flour-dredged chicken cutlets in a tangy sauce of butter, white wine, lemon juice, and capers, finished with fresh parsley. Never tasted caper-based sauce, so light and fresh while you can enjoy the rich chicken breast, OMG, you have to come here for it.
One thing worth mentioning is the interior decorations here, so old fashioned Italian style, kind of like movie.

This place has been here since the 70s and the food has been consistently serving authentic Italian. It’s not a big establishment. The lower rating comes from the parking, delayed service & food wait time. On our last visit on a weekday, they seemed understaffed. Two servers (one was also the bartender) for the whole place about fourteen tables. Took 10 min after being seated to have the server come by to take drink orders. Server was apologetic and was pleasant but after taking drink orders, took another 10 min to get them. He was running around handling so many tables , it took him a while to return for food order. After taking order, he said kitchen was backed up but would get it as soon as possible. (Table across had the same issue of slow service).
Food- Table Bread products came out as often as requested. Not what I would call classic garlic bread but fresh. They also had pizza flavored pita bread slices. Entrees are generous portions & very good tasting. What I would call authentic. If you order the meal, you get a tasty bowl of minestrone soup and a dinner salad as part of your meal. Their marinara with meat sauce is one of the best in the South Bay. Dessert of tiramisu was underwhelming as it served in a cup for $14.95. Overall, I liked it, I didn’t love it! I wanted to but can’t!

What a wonderful local spot. Quiet. Good conversation with our dinner. Minestrone was very tasty. And our salad was tossed at our table. Dressing was light. Main dish was very good and generous portions. Lemoncello truffle was magical.

Had such a great time at Brogino’s! Omar was an awesome bartender; I asked him to come up with something more fall themed, and he absolutely delivered. The drink was perfect, and the ambience was just as good. Great neighborhood restaurant and bar… definitely worth checking out!

Atmosphere: I enjoyed the cozy, family setting
Service: friendly, hospital, flexible, and great
Food: fair. For that price point, the entrees were small. The Chicken Florentine was tasty and crisp but only included two chicken breasts. Osso buccon was fairly good but had more bone than meat. The meals included house salad which was fresh, but the soup and pasta accompanying them were overly salted. Garlic bread was okay.

On Sunday the 23 the family and I went to Brogino’s a Resturant that I have been eating at for decades. I ordered one of my favorites Scalops over angel hair. Right off something seemed off. The scallops that use to be the size of a fifty cent pieces were now the size of a quarters. Worse than that, they were flavorless. I suspect maybe they were frozen as opposed to fresh. I really should have asked! The butter and garlic sauce was so heavy with capers that is all I could taste butter and capers. Anyway, I was very disappointed. I’ll try the again but next time I’ll send the meal back if it isn’t any better!

Went with a friend who goes a lot. It was kinda like going to Cheers. Everybody know his name and he knew them. We sat in a both in the bar area. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. Probably one of the friendliest places I’ve been in a long time. Has a great menu and what I had was delicious.

They added outdoor dinning, wanted to support local. Had a wonderful dinner. The food was great as always, tried Italian stir-fry. It was so good! Along with the soup, salad, bread and a little libation. It was a great atmosphere. Service was good. Everything was safe and enjoyable!

Cozy, classic, Italian traditional place. Good quality service. Big portions of home-made taste food. They make their own bread and it is fantastic. Menu has a great selection. Not super cheap, but very fair prices, please note that “a la carte” is just the dish, and “complete” comes with soup and salad. For places likes this is that I love the South Bay.
