Great little local place. Homemade potato salad was amazing. Turkey sandwich was delicious. Very friendly service from the whole staff. Would absolutely stop here again when in Burns and recommend to my family and friends.

Best glutenfree sandwich I’ve had in years. My kids had a blast playing with the toys. What a cool place. Pictured is the Turkey Reuben.

This was the perfect stop for lunch driving through town. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and they had gluten free! I had a gluten free turkey avocado with no cream cheese. My kids each had a sandwich and one had clam chowder soup. It came with a bag of chips and some veggies. Service was quick and efficient. We all enjoyed it and were very satisfied.

What a GREAT place on route 20 in Burns to stop, take a break and enjoy some wonderful homemade sandwiches! I have celiac and they were very aware and willing to take needed protocols to make a delicious gluten free pastrami sandwich. My wife had the traditional Ruben and she loved it. Their homemade pies and desserts looked amazing.

I’m leaving a review while I eat because the food and service are so good! I had the French dip sandwich and it was one of the best I had. Cute country style restaurant with warm and welcoming service you would hope to find in a place like this. Also, my wife had the Hilander on GF and she said the meat was very good.

Best turkey ham sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Ask for recommendations, we had the Highlander because they recommended it, and they had freshly baked bread too. Cute atmosphere, clean bathroom, nice people. Highly recommend.

Don’t get me wrong, the food here was very good. But the menu is extremely confusing and the owner has a nasty attitude. Unless you can remember about a dozen caveats from the owner, it’s impossible to tell what comes with what and you end up spending more than you need to more often than not. The other is the attitude of the owner. The owner is probably 70 years old and was very hostile towards me, a 23 year old male. When I erroneously requested a bread they didn’t carry followed by another, she gave me a nasty look and sassily listed the breads they did have… there was no list. She then went on to give me here disorganized spiel about what comes with what and all of her amazing specials. I ended up just going for an egg salad which was cheap and familiar. It was a decision that obviously offended her. Unless you want to be judged and scolded, this is not a pleasant place to enjoy lunch.

This little deli is amazing. The gal who owns it is the sweetest! Support local and enjoy the BLT!! So yummy. I would’ve posted a photo, but I ate it too fast.

Based on another review I stopped here on our way through town and I’m glad we did. The sandwich was huge and so good. I ate it for 3 meals. The cinnamon roll was excellent as well.
