Nice people, good atmosphere. Wish it was more of a dedicated bowling alley though and not so much a restaurant, and unfortunately that shows the most with the actual lanes. I bowl in a league here, and I am going to sound like a snob for saying this, but if you are an avid bowler with your own equipment who cares about lanes conditions, this is probably not the place for you. I’ve bowled here 20+ times now and I don’t think I’ve ever once bowled on a fresh lane (the fact they put league bowlers on lanes just used by birthday parties actually astounds me). Normally when a lane isn’t fresh, its too dry for a bowler who hooks the ball. Here, its the exact opposite. I am pretty sure they put down a sport shot pattern (which is extremely unnecessary unless you are in very competitive USBC sanctioned leagues) and the amount of oil carrydown I experience on each lane makes it extremely hard to bowl with any type of consistency hooking the ball. I am told Bayside also puts down the same pattern, but what I can tell you about Bayside is that its done more often and more consistently, and that is why I have never had a problem breaking 200 there. The other thing I’ll mention about Broadway is the awful pinsetters. The workers are very aware that lane 5 is incapable of putting down corner pins, but they do nothing to fix the problem in between league days. What bothers me is that they are asking people to pay money to be in a competitive league and they aren’t even providing lanes that work even 90% of the time.
I’ll end this by saying if you aren’t a bowling snob then probably everything I just mentioned won’t apply to you. Its just very disappointing to see how inconsistent these lanes are compared to Bayside given the relation to the two alleys.

With the advantage of a sneak peek via soft opening I get to be the first to review here. The problem is I can only give 5 stars and the place deserves 6.
This is going to be the classy, cozy, charming cousin to Bayside Bowl. The vibe and styling is unique and inviting. Variety of spaces including large outdoor deck area with weather flap winter windows and heat lamps above. This will be incredible year round. The lanes are pristine and ready for real deal bowling. The bar is large. Space flows great. Kitchen is for real – first food out was amazing. So exciting to see Broadway Bowl launch!

Decided it was too hot to cook at home, so back again and not disappointed! Bartender Casey (sp?? Sorry if I’m off) was awesome! Super friendly and talkative. Menu is simple and good. Chicken fingers and fries, both obviously not frozen and handmade. Carolina sauce Broadway sauce FANTASTIC!!

My favorite neighborhood spot! What a great addition to SoPo. We come here for bowling, trivia, watching the Celtics, beers with friends… It’s a giant space, but they make really good use of it. I love the staff so much, and their playlist is always on point.

Fun, clean & well managed bowling alley with kind and helpful/fun staff, tasty bar food including wings and chicken fingers with really good sauces. Appears to be relatively new and lacks the grit of the bowling alleys of old. Would return for sure.

Good food at bar. Menu has improved over time. Most bartenders/servers at bar are attentive. Especially?? Jason (wears a hat).
The most unenjoyable aspect is the music. Way to boomer and very loud in the bar.
Second to that, they need a second phone line for take out so u don’t need to hear a 60 message about bowling.

We had 2 very successful holiday gatherings at Broadway Bowl The first one of about 35 people on the heated back patio and the other of 24 people in the back room.
Both times, the staff was awesome! They were accommodating, very personable and friendly. Their payment system made it easy to keep track of our various orders.
The place is clean, the food was great and the ambience very nice!
I am excited to now have this great option right here in Sopo!
