• Slightly underseasoned for my taste, so I added extra chili sauce, pepper, salt, and more mustard
• Pastrami was great if you’re a meat lover; I personally prefer one with more veggies (thought it would have a bit more)
• Bagel had a crunchy exterior with a chewy inside. I has really good texture.
• Staff were quick to take and serve orders; I just wish there was a bit more patience for customers who are still deciding
• Went there early around 8am Monday. It was already busy but no long lines.
• Definitely a must-try! Will be back to try one with cream cheese
Update in response to the owner’s question:
•Service during my visit wasn’t excellent. I asked the staff for a recommendation, but he seemed annoyed and only shrugged and pointed at the menu, which didn’t feel very welcoming. Because of that, I went ahead and ordered the pastrami.
The pastrami itself was good, but in my opinion not really ideal for an early-morning breakfast bagel, and it was a bit underseasoned for my taste.
That said, I’m still open to coming back to try other variations and hoping for a better overall experience next time.
The kids, of course zeroed in on the Oreo cream cheese. I tried to object… but eventually gave in. Can’t win them all. They said was good…
The place was packed, but the line moved fast and service was quick. Overall, a great way to kick off the day.
I was honestly overwhelmed—in the best way—by the huge selection of bagels and loaded cream cheeses. I went with a jalapeño bagel paired with the bacon jalapeño cream cheese, and wow… it was to die for. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy without being overly filling—exactly how a bagel should be.
A true New York–style must-have. I’ll definitely be back.
Ordering ahead online highly recommended unless you prefer to queue for 20 minutes just for the cashier! Also not a place to linger; so just grab you pre-order and go
The real star was Robert, the owner. Sweet, silly, and full of friendly New York–meets–wise guy charm. He came over to say hi, welcomed me in, and even had a few jokes about Florida in his back pocket that had me laughing. It’s that kind of warm chaos that makes you feel like you’ve found someplace special.
Delicious bagels, speedy service, and an owner who knows how to make you feel at home—Broad Nosh is definitely worth a stop.
Absolutely incredible! This spot is everything you want in a New York bagel shop — fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The bagel with lox and cream cheese was perfection: soft, chewy bagel, rich cream cheese, and beautifully fresh salmon. Every bite tasted like it was made with care.
The display case alone is worth the visit — loaded with every kind of cream cheese imaginable, fresh toppings, and beautiful sandwiches ready to go. You can tell they take pride in every detail, from the presentation to the quality of ingredients.
I paired my bagel with a smoothie, and it was the perfect combo to start the morning. Friendly staff, fast service, and an unbeatable selection. Easily a must-try breakfast stop in NYC!
The first time I ordered a bagel with a potato latke (they’re delicious), but when I got home I realized they’d forgotten the latke. No big deal, I assumed this was a one-off problem. The second time I had the wherewithal to check my order before leaving the store. Once again, no potato latke. When I pointed that out, they fixed the issue right away. Today (clearly learning nothing from my previous experiences) I once again made it all the way home before I realized that again they had left the potato latke out of my order despite it clearly being on the receipt on the bag.
I will note that this does not appear to be an issue if you order in-person. It seems that whatever their workflow is for online orders is just creating a consistent problem with order completeness.
TLDR: if you order online (instead of standing in the always-long line in person) just make absolutely sure everything is included from your order before you leave.
