Stopped in today at Brito’s Burrito in the Texa Tonka area. Fresh tortillas. Some of the proteins have an uplift, but not chicken. A couple of options that I had not seen before Mexican Rice and onions & peppers.
Today is 3/2/26, including tax $9.88! Burritos at the taco place across the street $15. I think this is a great deal and have attached a video for your review. Highly recommend!

Fresh tortillas are great, breakfast burrito is good but the hash brown mixture they put in was a bit salty. Burrito is huge. Friendly employees and clean restaurant.

The staff is very busy around lunch time on the weekends, but they are still very friendly. Their breakfast burritos are the best you’ll find in the cities. They have all of the standard meat options that you would expect from an authentic Mexican taco shop, and also sausage and bacon during breakfast(which used to be only Saturday and Sunday but may have expanded as their business has grown). The ingredients are all freshly prepared, and the proof is in the taste. Don’t plan to dine in, because there isn’t much seating. 2x 2-person tables, 1x 4-person table, and 3x bar-top style seats. All beverages are cans or bottles, no soda fountain. Parking can be tricky on Sundays. There are other businesses in the strip that peak during the same hours, but they do have two dedicated spaces for pickup orders and there’s an online app for online ordering. We try to go here once a month or so to get a breakfast burrito. I don’t think they have a restroom for public use. Never had the need for it, but just trying to include info that people might want to know. Establishment seems to be ADA compliant from what I can tell.

If you are looking for a Chipotle alternative you need to check out Brito’s Burrito. They have fresh ingredients that taste delicious! I usually get a bowl but have had their tortillas and they are much better than other restaurants. I always have to ask for more rice, but they always oblige and throw more in the bowl free of charge. They have a rewards system which is nice if you come here often enough. The staff have always been welcoming and helpful! It’s right down the road from us and is our go to fast option.

The best value and best tasting burrito place in the twin cities. I love burritos and can easily say it’s better than chipotle with 2x the value. The food is made very fresh and the tortilla is prepped right in front of you which makes the burrito tastes incredible. I go here multiple times a week due to how cheap and tasty everything is.

I feel like the name says it all. Stick to a burrito. My rice bowl was incredibly average and lacked any flavor. Chicken and steak were both extremely bland more so the chicken. The steak was so chopped up it looked like ground beef. The steak lacked any kind caramelization or color almost looked like it was boiled.
I’m not a person a person either that likes mounds of protein, I like my meal well balanced. I ordered chicken with extra steak and even with the extra protein I didn’t feel it reached a normal amount of protein you would get at other places near by.
Would be a hard sell for me to try again with everything that was lacking especially flavor. The staff was awesome though. Very friendly and helpful

I walked into Brito’s thinking I was getting a less franchisey chipotle… and walked out a size queen.
Honestly, the thing was massive. Like, the size of my head. I had to switch things up and use a two-handed grip, which is rare for me. This was the kind of burrito that makes you rethink your plans for the afternoon. You don’t eat it… you commit to it. The tortilla was warm and fresh, and the flavors? A full-blown fiesta in my mouth. I’m talking maracas, confetti, maybe even a tiny piñata.
Plus, the staff is friendly. They look genuinely happy you’re there, which is rare these days, especially because the menu is so amazing I changed my mind as I was ordering like 5 different times and still left feeling like I’d been fed AND emotionally supported.
If you’re anywhere within a 50-mile radius, drop what you’re doing and go. Your tastebuds will thank you, your soul will thank you, and honestly… your future self will too.
…now, If they just get better seating and a soda machine in there, they wouldn’t just be beating Chipotle, they would be bullying them.
