A decent lounge close to A5.
could have been a better service after 2PM. I flew Eva and this was the lounge used for Eva. Online says it opens at 130pm but check in person says they open at 850am or so. Could not figure out the or so part.
Check in was a bit chaotic. The lady was checking passports and visas and a long line forming. you can directly board from the lounge that explains the passport and visa check.
The lounge is spacious and clean. lots of place to sit. Was told you could order off a menu after 2pm. But the morning crowd gets sandwiches, salad, soup and an entree which was chicken, rice and soup. Food wasn’t the best. very bland and cold.
All self service including drinks.
the staff was very prompt at bussing and keeping the place clean.
Great view of the planes that made time fly by.
Overall, ok experience

Very big lounge near gate A5 in the international Terminal. Lots of room and overlooks overlooks Gate 5 and 7. They have separate dining for First Class Passengers and they also have table service with a very limited menu. Today they had Fish Fingers on a Bun. Lots to eat and drink. Fast WiFi. Lounge is used by Iberia too. I rate the Emirates Qatar and Turkish airline lounges in their home countries a5 and that’s why this is rated a 4. But amongst SFO Lounges it is among the best

This is a solid 4 star lounge. The food is excellent. I had the salmon Ceasars salad and the lamb curry , had a little cheese plate and tandoori chicken. It was all very good. Make a RIGHT turn when you get in. That’s where the buffet is and there isn’t a sign. If you go left the only food is by order . The bathroom was individual and very nice. The ambience is a touch lacking in comparison some other 1st class lounges and while the food is very good, Quantas is another step up if you can go, but all in all worth a stop and very comfortable with very good eats.

Consider for the such large airline that have many flights a day, this is a very small lounge to compare with Air France or some Asia airlines that use United’s lounge.

When we arrived at 2:30 PM for our 5:30 flights to London, it was pretty empty but filled up rather quickly!

The choice for the hot buffet was very limited but the salad bar was pretty good and well maintained. .

You can also order the menu items by scanning the QR code on the table next to your seat, they will deliver to your seat when ready!

There are also first class dining at the back end of lounge.

The alcohol bar has good selections. If you can get a seat by the window, you can have the great view of the tarmac and airplane.

Nice and comfy lounge with lots of spaces to relax before the flight. Just wish they had more options for non meat eaters. Overall experience with the staff was also great.

Jan 2025 Had a business class flight via Japan Air Lines that is served by this lounge.

The scale of the facility basically limits everything else except for the standard lounge service staff who are efficiently doing their duties.

The food and beverage options are pretty limited and very basic.

The seating is spacious but the furnishings are very minimalist or not hinting at any luxury.

The feel is much like a dining hall at a hospital or government office.

I traveled so much, and I’ve never seen a lounge as small as this one. I arrived at around 10:00 in the morning and by 10:30, 11:00 it was packed. Not many choices for food. There were a good variety of drinks though. Service was very slow!

While EVA Air does not have its own lounge at SFO, Royal Laurel Class passengers are invited to use the British Airways Lounge before boarding. The crowded lounge is stuffy. Seats are quite uncomfortable. Staff is unfriendly and impatient. Salad is perhaps the better choice for snack, because the hot buffet items are not enticing at all. The only highlight at the unwelcoming lounge is the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne!

Like any lounge in the US, this one was packed. I was flying with EVA Air and this was their partner lounge. The food was mediocre. The best thing about the lounge is the direct access to the gate. No need to leave the lounge, just conveniently board A9 from there!

This lounge also serves Japan Airlines passengers as the JAL has been closed since June this year. I don’t have high expectations for BA lounge due to prior experiences at other US airports but this one is way better. There are a few hot food selections and they taste good. Lots of wine and spirits, drinks and even fresh orange juice. There are some Japanese snacks too. The lounge is almost full so we didn’t get the best seat.
