Wow, hard to imagine finding a better almond croissant anywhere else in the world. The other pastries we had were also excellent – crispy on the outside, thoroughly cooked on the inside but not overdone, with excellent buttery flavor. If you love high quality pastries you should definitely come here.

The croissants, cinnamon roll, and pasty we ordered this morning were incredible. The croissants are flaky, buttery and the size of baseball mitts. The cinnamon roll was perfectly sweet and soft. I think I may have detected a hint of maple in the frosting. I’m so sad it’s closed on Sundays!

We stopped here twice on our weekend trip to the Creede area & both days got delicious baked goods here! Between the two days, we got a ginger pumpkin pie parfait (gf), chocolate croissant, German chocolate pie (our kiddos LOVED this!), a raspberry cream cheese danish & lemon very brioche. All amazing & the lady who runs the shop was sweet.

The more I stuff my face with the baked goods from this place the more I’m convinced that the sweet lady that works at this place is a fairy godmother that posses some kind of baking magic. I’m pretty certain that she stays up all night baking these wonderful things and adds a touch of her magic to all that she bakes then she comes here during the day and sells her wonderful goods.
All the items here are delicious even the ones that you wouldn’t typically like are amazing.
The crust is flaky, buttery and yummy.
The filings are full of flavor, fruity, sweet but the magic is that she knows the exact amount of sweetness.
I normally wouldn’t order carrot cake but it’s so good from here.
The pumpkin pie is exactly what fall would taste like with the right amount of spices, sweetness and the perfect crust.
The breakfast items are so good again the crust is amazing.
I can’t even list all the items I’ve tried but I’ve been here twice and each time spent around $40 or more ♀️.
Aside from all that I’ve said what makes this place stand out is how fresh everything tastes.
I always forget to take pics because by the time I remember they’re all gone.

HIGHLY recommend!! I got the Chocolate Cake, Snickerdoodle Cookie, and Chocolate Chip Cookie to share with my family. Everyone loved the cookies! And everyone commented on how much they loved the cake! The frosting was so creamy and delicious. Go visit whenever you can! We will be back!

We stopped in to grab some pastries before a hike near Creede, and that was the best decision we made the entire trip!
We got the Lemon Blueberry Brioche, Peach Brioche, Raspberry Cheese Danish, Sausage & Egg Pastry, and the Carrot Cake. It was all delicious and incredibly fresh.
The prices were reasonable as well, around $4 for the pastries and $7 for the carrot cake. Keep in mind that they’re only open Wed-Sun from 8am to 2pm or sold out, though I’d recommend showing up as soon as they open! We got there right at 8am and had 5 people in front of us.
Definitely stop in and grab some pastries, you won’t regret it!

This absolutely adorable bakery has a delightful selection of delectable treats! My wife and I absolutely loved everything we have tried there. The sausage pasty, carrot cake, apple pastry, and danish we’re all incredible. If we ever are in the area again we will have to keep trying everything else they have!

Wow, absolutely delicious bakery and very kind woman at the counter. We had carrot cake, brownie, and snickerdoodle. All were incredible. The carrot cake is so fresh and not overly sweet, one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely return.

We stopped by on our way out of town and both of our selections were so tasty (almond croissant and nutella brioche). I only wish we could have tried more because everything looked so fresh and tasty – we’ll definitely be stopping next time we’re in town!
