The owner is so friendly makes you want to continue to support them and order more. He said they even ship on Goldbelly if you are craving and can’t go their location.
Fun fact: I heard that French toast is one of The Rock’s favorite foods, and the owner of Brique is actually his private chef. So, if you’re strolling through the Century City Mall, you absolutely need to grab a Brique!
I remember watching the Rock do his cheat day on Instagram live. And he ate this absolutely massive piece of French toast. My wife and I were drooling at how good it looked. And then we walked into Brique and Daniel, the owner, tells me that his wife is the chef for the Rock! And she is the one who made that French toast!
Run don’t walk to this place inside century city mall. They also have nailed the marketing Branding. Super chic and cool.
PSA: it’s fast casual so there’s no seating inside but plenty of seating outside in the mall. And if you’re not in the area they do nationwide shipping!
Our apartment catered from Brique for a Sunday brunch. The packaging is beautiful and perfectly packed. You have a nice branded bag with the reheating instructions, brioche, and toppings inside. The toppings are packaged individually and numbered so Brique makes everything super simple.
I reheated it with an air fryer for 6 minutes and it came out perfect for me. The outside was crispy and the inside was soft. I never had a brioche this thick and thought it might be too much but this portion was great for satisfying my carb and sweet tooth cravings as well as keeping me full for breakfast/lunch. The original Brique is not complete without the toppings. The first thing you put on is the peanut butter coconut maple syrup. It’s really sweet by itself but when poured on, it elevates the brioche flavor and is the perfect companion. The nice step is to top it off with the vanilla bean whipped cream. The cream is very light and honestly not really needed. The
last topping is the toasted coconut chips which are heavenly. I could snack on these alone and wish I had a bag of them. It gives a nice extra crunch and a little extra flavor. I only used half or less of all the toppings but they are what complete the original Brique so don’t skip out on them!
