Once seated, the experience improved significantly. The food was excellent—our steaks were cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. Our server was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and made sure our large group was well taken care of throughout the evening.
Despite the initial wait, our group truly enjoyed the dinner. We also appreciated the calm and quiet atmosphere, which made for a pleasant and relaxed evening. The lack of crowd was not due to popularity, but rather staffing challenges. Overall, the quality of the food and service after being seated made the experience worthwhile, and we would happily return.
That said, we brought our own homemade cake, and the staff was kind enough to store it in their walk‑in fridge for us, which we really appreciated and made the celebration easier.
This location was clearly understaffed. There were only two servers covering the entire restaurant. Despite that, our server did a good job. She was friendly and attentive given the circumstances and was juggling most of the tables while also bussing, which we recognized and appreciated.
For food, we ordered the chicken Milanese, the scallop and shrimp risotto, and the seasonal pasta dish, gnocchi al forno. Everything we had was pretty good, including the pre‑meal bread, which was actually very good.
The chicken Milanese was solid, though we felt the cheese on top could have been melted a bit more, and the portion of chicken itself could have been larger. The scallop and shrimp risotto was very good flavor‑wise, though we did find a stray bay leaf in the dish. Still, the overall taste was strong. The gnocchi al forno was also quite good, and the portion size was generous.
Overall, this location has potential, but they really need to get their staffing situation figured out. That said, the staff who were there were very nice and did the best they could, and the food itself was enjoyable.
This restaurant has many options for the liquor and wine lovers. They have very long table of you prefer to sit in bar settings.
I feel the food taste a lot of saltier, especiallythe italian sausage. To the point that’s not enjoyable to eat. Despite the price, the pasta tastes just alright. Nothing to brag about.
Update…. No one ever called me back, though I asked to be called. Instead, I get an AI “response from the owner” directing me to waste more of my time at the website. Just eat elsewhere.
When we ordered my fiancé got two appetizers, some bread, and we ordered the main course. We also ordered a refill on our drinks. After a while the appetizers came, which were ok. We never got bread, at this point still no waters, and no refills on the drinks. After we were there approximately 45 minutes, only had the appetizers, 1 drink each, finally got some water after asking 5 times, and still no food, refills or bread, I asked to speak to the manager. The bartender asked what was wrong. I explained he was a nice guy, but we wanted to pay for what we had, and go somewhere else. He was very kind, and all of the sudden a lot faster, and got us our bill excluding the main courses and drinks we never received.
While we were leaving the two ladies next to us advised us they were there celebrating a birthday and also had a horrible experience and would not be coming back.
We left and went across the street to Atlas Tavern which was infinitely better.
I ordered a New York strip steak and my wife got the salmon. I’ve had the salmon before and it never disappoints.
However my steak was the toughest piece of meat I’ve had in a long time. It was over cooked. I asked for medium and got well done.
I should have sent it back but I’m too nice.
Our waitress Maudia was good and attentive enough.
So my recommendation is don’t order a New York strip unless you want to really exercise your jaw muscles.
The atmosphere gives fine-dining on the lower end but still a nice place to enjoy lunch / dinner. The dining room and seating area is pretty open, with nice mellow music playing in the background. I always start out with the warm complementary sourdough bread in the creamy butter slice.
I ordered the appetizer lamb chops without the crusted Gorgonzola cheese, which comes with three chops. I asked for my lamb chops to come out medium, they came out medium well but they were still pretty tasty.
I also ordered a wedge salad on the side to get my greenery in, and I always ask for extra blue cheese crumbles as there is never enough. Be careful not to fall in love with the creamy Parmesan dressing that is paired with the wedge salad.
My meal came up to a total of almost $40 which I felt was pretty reasonable for the service and food. If you are planning on dining in with a large party, I would recommend making reservations in advanced on the website.
