Food is great most of the time, please be cautious though when it comes to paying. This is the second time now that “Briggs” has SELF TIPPED
we are all towards tipping well for self owned businesses but come on now , $50 was given to cover a $23 bill, “Briggs” gave back $13 in change. As a frequent customer I was appalled that he did it again. The first time he self tipped $16 not a big deal we had a big order that day but did not think about the change till we got home. Just be careful about how much change you’re supposed to get back and don’t let him bully you out of your money. The food again is great but not worth a self tip of almost $20. I was a regular for years then I got married and introduced my family t this family owned business but now We will NOT be returning due to lack of proper business skills such as being able to properly give change back. Learn to do math it’s not that hard.

Great hidden gem in Lancaster. We got the special that was $7, ate every bit & was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and feels like a homey place.

I found out about this place by way of a social media friend. My wife and I brought good friends here today for the double cheese burger and fries… FANTASTICALLY DELICIOUS!!!!
I’ve been wanting a really good “greasy spoon” burger joint for some time. Not only is it a greasy spoon, it’s a dive! and I don’t mean that in a bad way!
I saw one man doing the grill another prepping. Average time for food to come to table was not bad.
Seems that the customers are really friendly. I met a 90 yr old Korean war vet who did NOT look 90! He was chiseled. Said he comes there daily for the past 60 years,…..
PS: to the young lady named Faith, who gave one star…that’s a “good for you”, as all those who think like you and don’t return, just means more of this goodness for us old folk.

I called ahead to order lunch. Not knowing it was cash only I panicked, but the staff were so down to earth and kind that they let me leave with the food (I was on a time crunch to get lunch to my construction worker husband) and come back to pay after. Good people recognize good people. I don’t live in the area, so this was all new, but it was highly appreciated. And the food was great!

First time going to Briggs the other day. Got a cheeseburger some fries and it was honestly fantastic way above my expectations. Definitely come over here and check out Briggs. I will be returning as soon as I have the opportunity.

It’s one of the best hamburgers we have had in a while. Fresh and made to order.
You can watch it being made. Small area. Hometown feel. Locally-owned long time business.
Loved the history and how the gentleman were playing cards at one of the tables.
Don’t drive by and think you already know the food. Walk in and try it.
Gave a 4 for inside mostly only because it’s old building not alot of up dates but that gives it alot of charm.
Bathrooms are up stairs (side note)
Stop in and give them a try.
Also…cash only !!!
If we are in area again this is a repeat place for sure.
Go and get you some hometown feel cooking.
Also it’s clean!
