We stopped here after a flight to ogdensburg airport. It was an okay experience. Solid three stars. Disappointed by the $60 bbq sampler. Most of the meat was overcooked and the rib meat was too tough to eat. The coleslaw and potato salad were just okay. Nothing outstanding. I’m from southern part of the U.S. and I suppose growing up from there I must have a very high standard for bbq places because this was probably the worst bbq I’ve ever eaten. The chicken club sandwich, however, was amazing. Love that they had whole wheat options and everything on the sandwich was fresh. The fries were also very good. We would definitely be up for giving this place another try, just readjust your bbq expectations and I’m sure this little gem will be satisfactory. The service was good and we appreciated our friendly waitress.

We enjoyed a wonderful high tea experience at Bridgeview. Our server was friendly and attentive. The mix and match tea cups and tea pots added to the whimsical event. Can’t wait to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating. The food was delicious!

A hidden gem on the waterfront. Homemade food and desserts. The Prime rib Friday special was cooked perfectly. The inside looks like an old time 50’diner with stools at the bar, but plenty of seating inside and out on their patio. Also, they were setting up for live entertainment inside. Can’t wait to return

It was mine and my partners first time here and we absolutely loved it!! We started with the calamari which was AMAZING! Then we got 2 piece fish & chips and that was delicious too. Our server was so kind and did a great job. Would 100% recommend this restaurant!!

Bridge View Dockside Restaurant & Patio stands out for its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and impressive lineup of locally brewed beers. Situated right on the water, it offers stunning, unobstructed views of the Ogdensburg–Prescott International Bridge—perfect for a laid-back meal with a view.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We ordered shareable plates like calamari and chicken wings—crispy, juicy, and cooked just right. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable.

Beer lovers will appreciate the huge selection of local brews on tap. Ask for a flight of samplers—my favourites were the lager and amber. Add in free onsite parking and you’ve got a spot that’s well worth the visit, whether you’re a local or just passing through.

Hubby and I are from LongSault and were told you have to eat here. We don’t ever go out of our comfort zone. I give a 10 to this fabulous restaurant. We picked the best date day/evening location. Sat out in the sun under and umbrella on the patio. Watched the cars travel across the bridge. We ordered a bottle of wine and the bbq sampler. Wait staff was amazing and very knowledgeable. Amazing food, amazing view.

We ordered Mac and cheese (delicious) fettuccini Alfredo (mediocre), meatloaf with potatoes (definitely won’t order again) and beef brisket au jus. The au jus serving was not even 1/4 full (will be pictured)

What an awesome spot to stop! My husband said it was the best burger he’d had in years and my pulled pork was amazing. The server was so friendly and she answered our questions about the town happily. Their bathroom is also one of the best washrooms I’ve ever seen for accessibility.

Nice little spot…until the bill came.

Our family (2A2C) went for a little drive out of town with a hope to get a bite before a little time fishing in the river. We saw this place online and thought “decent reviews…why not?”
We drove there (only about 35 min from Barrhaven) and it was exactly what we thought. A quaint little diner on the waterfront.

We sat inside (then shifted to outside when a table with an umbrella opened up- there were only 4 out of a patio of about a dozen+ tables) and ordered our drinks. A kid’s milk, a milkshake (about 30% of it was whipped cream) and a coffee.
We then selected our meals and ordered a kid’s grilled cheese and salad (nice though simple, as it should be for a kids meal), a fish burger with fries which is actually a fish and chips placed on a bun (???), a club sandwich with fries and a little mayo on the side as sometimes the sandwich comes very light on mayo for all the ingredients on a club (solid sandwich and fries, again as it should be for a diner as it’s a staple), and an all you can eat mussels which comes with a tomato sauce or a white wine and cream sauce. My wife choce the white sauce and sadly it was more like a mussels alfredo that anything light and fragrant. That being said, the mussels were cooked perfectly.

We had to get going so we asked for the bill from our server who was pleasant and kind throughout the entire experience.
We paid and left and it was only after when I looked at the receipt that the “oddly high” bill started to make sense.
Here’s the breakdown:
***number of exclamation marks = level of price insanity
Club $17.95
Extra mayo $1.50!!!!!!!!!!!! (for a tiny plastic cup and I was never told there was an extra charge)
Kid’s grilled cheese $9.00
Crispy fish burger $18.50!!
All you can eat mussels $20.75
Kid’s milk $3.50!!!
Coffee $3.00!!
Milkshake $9.00!!!!!!! ( I had no idea I was in the same diner as Pulp FIction movie)

Overall the place is in a nice location with nice servers but it is also simply a diner serving diner food that’s “ok” to which the prices are (mostly) completely outrageous.

I’d go if I were you but you’d really REALLY better be careful what you order unless you have just recently come into an inheritance or you won the lottery.

We were visiting a near by area and was recommended this place for a quiet patio. We were so surprised how great our food was and how beautiful a spot they have. Tacos were so good, solid 10 and avocado toast is lights out. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely return with friends later this summer. Great staff that even the Chef came out to talk to us. Great little spot!
