I took my wife here for her birthday and we had a wonderful time! The owner has this place and KCs Alley next door. Our server was Victor and he was extremely pleasant and loved his job. The food was perfect and came out fast. The ambiance was really cool. There was original art work all over the restaurant so after our meal we walked around and checked it out. It was like a dinner and an art exhibit. Upstairs they have a bar overlooking downtown Ambler. Totally different environment but still great. If you’ve never been, I would recommend coming here for dinner, dessert or just a nightcap!

My wife and I went for a date night on a Sunday. We ordered the calamari starter, which I thought was very interesting. The calamari was cooked very well, it had a lite sweetness and paired well with the banana chips. I recommend it if you like calamari. I ordered the dry aged steak. It was cooked a bit under but the wait staff was accommodating and put it back on the grill for another moment or two. I think for the cost of the steak ($57), more than 4 asparagus and a smear of mashed would have been appreciated. Wife ordered Bronzino fish. I felt her portion and price were right on, and the cook on the first was extremely good. Drinks were all good, I dont know why people say drinks are average.

This place was amazing!!!! It was our first time going and when you walk in it has a very nice ambiance. Our server was amazing and he was a huge help with our selections. For our appetizers we had the calamari…which by the way was hands down the best calamari I have EVER had!!!! We also got the burrata which was delicious and fresh! Our last appetizer was the lobster risotto and that was another amazing appetizer! For my entree I ordered the seafood fra diovolo and it was so yummy! Of course had to end with dessert and I got the apple pie! It literally was like a mini apple pie! AMAZING!!!! hands down will go back again!

Excellent food here. The steaks were all cooked and seasoned perfectly. Also, they have some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. They have some delicious cocktails and a pretty large wine selection, too. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good spot for a special occasion

Absolutely classy and magnificent. Perfect food and atmosphere. Everyone at every level was professional. Tonight’s Manager was Mel. He treated us like family. Steve, the Co Owner was a wonderful host and welcomed us in such a lovely way. Much to my surprise, he sent us dessert then came back to bid us farewell. Our Waiter was spectacular in the way he handled our special requests. I will be back very soon and will bring my family and friends.

What a beautiful restaurant in the heart of the charming and quaint borough of Philadelphia, Ambler PA. I came here for a steak because of the reviews here and other places. But when I looked at the menu and saw the Au Poivre Cheesesteak, I couldn’t resist trying it. Needless to say, if the quality of a simple cheesesteak is any indication how good their steaks are, I must return for a Filet! This was by far the best cheesesteak I have ever had. It was made from filet, flank, and ribeye with mushrooms and caramelized onions in a savory, peppery sauce. The appetizer was Steamed Dumplings with a Thai Peanut Sauce. Delicious! The service and the entire dining experience was excellent. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good about this place. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming as was all the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with. Our server was polite, prompt, very attentive and engaging. The food was some of the best I or my girlfriend have had in quite some time. Given this was an anniversary dinner for us, we were treated to a slice of cheese cake as a very welcomed surprise. My girlfriend said “I don’t normally like cheese cake but I would eat a whole pie if this!” This was well worth the money and the drive down. I would very highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful meal with amazing people. Give yourself some time to look over the wine and spirits list, it’s pretty extensive, with a very good selection.

I gave 3 stars only because our prior experience here has been really good. But the restaurant week meal was very disappointing. The Seafood dish was missing scallops. We informed the waiter and a few minutes later they brought us a scallop that was barely cooked. When we informed the waiter, his response was ” uh, okay,” in fairness, we did not ask that they cook further as we were ready for dessert. Bread pudding was also mediocre. Portions are smaller than usual, so not really a great deal for $35. Waiter rarely checked on us. Overall not a great experience.

5 stars across the board. Went here on a dinner date. All the staff we interacted with was very pleasant and friendly from the time we walked in to the time we left. The food was very fresh and delicious I wanted to scrape my plate. We also enjoyed some cocktails that were made to perfection. My husband was to full to have dessert, I couldn’t resist as they had my favorite ice cream Bassets. My husband and I will definitely be returning soon.
