Overall, if you’re in the area and love cocktails and specialty whiskey’s and bourbons, this is the place for you! The atmosphere is laid back while sophisticated at the same time. Also romantic at night and perfect for a date night! The pork belly appetizer is to die for!!! So delicious! The butternut squash soup was also really amazing (texture and flavor) but needed some salt. The waitress brought the salt out and that took the soup to the next level! The salmon dish was also very delicious but the kale underneath was overcooked. The service was phenomenal. We didn’t feel rushed at all even though it was a Saturday night and we figured they were booked for reservations. Would come here again!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant.
First, the chandelier above the table was covered in dust, which immediately created the feeling that cleanliness and attention to detail are not a priority here.
I also brought flowers with me, but the staff did not offer a vase and didn’t even try to find a solution. It was surprising to hear that the restaurant simply has no vases at all. For a place that positions itself as a proper restaurant, that’s quite strange.
Another issue was the timing between brunch and dinner service. Brunch ends at 2:45 PM, and the kitchen only reopens at 4 PM, which creates an awkward gap where guests can’t really order anything substantial.
The food selection was also disappointing. The menu used to be much better a couple years ago.
In addition, the presentation of the dishes looked unappealing and not very well put together. The plates did not look appetizing, which took away from the overall dining experience.
Overall, the staff seemed indifferent, almost as if they didn’t care about the guests’ experience. Unfortunately, the service, presentation, and atmosphere did not meet expectations.
During the brunch, additional 4 shrimp were added for $15! When whole dish was $18. We were shocked.
Sadly, the restaurant has really gone downhill over the last four years.

We got to sit in the small igloo tents, which with the little heater, made it cozy with the 4 of us. We stopped for the cool drinks we saw posted for them and they were tasty! The charcuterie board was delicious and a perfect pairing for the drinks! Our friends saw our videos and pictures and it’s now a spot they want to visit. Definitely reccomend for those insta-worthy drinks!

Oh. My. Goodness. The Pumpkin spice chai creme brulee was out of this world. My scallops were perfect. And they jumped through hoops to ensure my meal was gluten free. Great service & ambiance.

While visiting downtown Pittsburgh, I came across Bridges & Bourbon and decided to stop in. We ordered the beet salad and salmon, and I was especially impressed with the salad—it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’d definitely go back just for that dish. The salmon was slightly on the dry side, but overall, the experience was enjoyable.
The vibe of the place was fancy yet comfortable, with a stylish and modern ambiance. One thing that really stood out was the creative presentation of the drinks—even though I didn’t order one myself, the cocktails being served to other tables looked playful, artful, and fun.
I’d recommend Bridges & Bourbon if you’re looking for a trendy spot with good food, great atmosphere, and beautifully crafted drinks.

My wife and I had several drinks there on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was very chill but the drinks were top shelf. My wife went on and on about the blackberry smash and my smoked bourbon was fantastic. I highly recommend and would go back in a second.

So my opinion of Bridges and Bourbon upon my first experience led me back to the bar. I was initially impressed with the selection of fine Bourbons and the atmosphere was mostly friendly and pleasant. However, my most recent visit left me with dissatisfied. While the waitress/hostess couldn’t have been friendlier and was well tipped to say thank you for their excellent service, the bar as a whole was disappointing. I ordered Eagle Rare from the waitress and got Elijah Craig. When I pointed this out, the waitress asked the bar staff and they said, “oh, thought that’s what your note said and then she informed me the bartender didn’t have Eagle Rare”! How the hell do you not have Eagle Rare with Bourbon in your name? They also didn’t have Blantons, or any Buffalo Trace products that I could mention. However, if I ordered them I was afraid I might get something else, since I was never asked if the substitution was an acceptable one by the bartender before serving it! He just sat it on our table, announced it and walked away. The waitress rescued the situation by asking if I liked EC and I said it was fine. However, it was my last bourbon at B&B. I also observed them serving “trendy” drinks that gave off more of a flair than did satisfy a pallet for good liquor. If you are going to be “that” bar, then call yourself something else. Maybe Bridges and Booze.

Came to Pittsburgh to have the B&B experience for our first time. Greeted kindly at the door and then at the bar by staff with water poured for us while we checked out the menu. Cool little place to see with the look of higher class and fun looking drinks and menu.
Bar staff seemed annoyed with each other. Food took a long time to receive.
We both ordered the Crane drink- wow! So Spicy it needs a warning! I am not trying to be funny. It was dangerously hot!
I couldn’t even drink it. I tried but kept getting heartburn from the overhaul of hot honey syrup. The bartender took it back. Ordered a different drink…it wasn’t good either. Too acidic again and didn’t drink half of it but the experience of the drink made it fun, at least.
For food- I ordered the Haluska option. It was devoured in mustard seeds and was overwhelming with mustard flavor. Maybe ate half of that.
My friend- ordered the Crane drink. Barely drank half of it due to the spicy additive.
Food ordered was the filet and that was delish, I was told.
On the way home- my friend who had only half of the Crane, vomited on the side of the highway. Blaming the spicy drink for the intense acid reflux.
Please work on fixing the excessive flavors that make the drinks and food unpleasant. It is my understanding these are side notes not main notes to taste. Staff might need retrained on cooking to taste and mixing drinks.
