If I could give about 4.7 stars, I would! We arrived during a “slammed” period but service was good. I had the whole fried fish: excellent except the coating could have had a bit more salt. Everyone’s food, and the two bottles of Mendoza-region Cabs were very good. We would go back.

My husband has been treating me to Bridge St Bistro for my birthday for the past 6 years. He has always ordered the Grassy Key Grouper and I had the salmon. Last year our dinners were overcooked, we were very disappointed. So thought we would keep up tradition and made reservations. Tonight, our waiter Tim was amazing! The view beautiful . My husband ordered his usual, the grouper was rubbery and overcooked, there were 3 shrimp on the plate that were cold, unseasoned, like they were just put on the plate newly defrosted. I do not like Cajun seasoning, I cannot do spice, so I couldn’t order the salmon. I asked about the pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. Tim stated it was in a white lobster sauce. What I was given was a plate of pasta, shrimp and scallops in a spicy Cajun sauce, so much so that it was dark red. We do not send food back, that only makes the wait staff feel bad. I couldn’t eat much of it. Tim apologized , he offered to get me something else, I declined. Sorry to say we will not be back.

Absolutely one of the best spots to visit while you’re in town, and a fantastic local place for dinner. The service was truly above and beyond. My meal was fresh, hot, and delicious. I ordered the blackened grouper with creamy bacon risotto, and it was beautifully presented and full of flavor. What a delight!
Our host, Kenita, was so pleasant and professional. She greeted us the moment we walked in and seated us with a warm smile. The manager, Jennifer, also stopped by to welcome us, which was a thoughtful touch. Our server, Patrick, was incredibly knowledgeable and helped guide us through the menu with ease, his recommendations were spot on.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I plan to post more reviews on other dishes to help with your dinner decisions. Highly recommend!

We were staying in Bradenton for the Christmas week, went to the beach Christmas morning, and noticed this restaurant was open when we left. We went home to clean up and decided to find dinner out, since we didn’t have a Christmas meal plan. We were able to get in for open seating at the bar even though they were booked for dinner reservations. The Christmas Meal was delicious and well-portioned. The staff was very friendly and hardworking. The sunset was phenomenal this night. Thank you for a memorable Christmas dinner!

Beach Street Bistro enjoys a beautiful location on Anna Maria Island, and we were lucky to have a table with a perfect view of the sunset, that was, without question, the highlight of the evening. I also genuinely appreciated sharing the experience with my family. Unfortunately, everything beyond the view fell short of expectations.
Service was noticeably subpar. Our water glasses remained empty for most of the meal, and given that water was our only beverage, it was especially glaring. The staff seemed disengaged and inattentive, which detracted from what should have been a special night.
The food, however, was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the pecan maple-glazed pork and was surprised to be asked how I’d like it cooked, a question I’ve never encountered when ordering pork, despite dining out frequently. When the dish arrived, it was undercooked in the center, had an unappealingly tough texture, and carried an odd aftertaste that made me question its freshness. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced clear signs that something wasn’t right.
My wife’s salmon was overcooked and dry, while my daughter’s fish and chips dish was mediocre at best, certainly not the quality we expected based on the restaurant’s reputation and pricing.
In the end, it was a memorable night for the wrong reasons. While the setting was undeniably lovely, the food and service missed the mark. Regrettably, we won’t be returning.

Tida. is a lovely server that has been working there for 20 years. She’s funny and so personable. We had the grouper dinner that was phenomenal! Generous peace of grouper! Thank you Island bistro for that! Beautiful presentation and delicious! We also both had the Key lime pie. It was perfect! It all made for a wonderful date night!

We had an amazing dining experience at Bridge Street Bistro! It was an extra special occasion (our parents’ 61st wedding anniversary). Cal really went the extra mile and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful table to celebrate and that made such a difference to all of us! The food was excellent and the service outstanding. (Can’t remember the name of our server but I think he was also the bartender.) Would highly recommend this location!

We had 7:45 reservations. Arrived at 7:45, were met with 3 disgruntled staff members. Were sent to the 3rd floor, then grumpily taken to the 2nd floor. Once seated another staff member waved her hands at us to tell us how busy she was. We sat for 1 hr at our table with only water. No drink nor appetizers were even offered. Our waitress came back a 2nd time after we had sat for the hour, once again waving her hands once again and told us it would be another hr before she could get to us. We left. I realize staff was overworked and stressed, I felt bad for her. At the same time this was not caused by us and did definitely did not deserve the treatment we received. WILL NOT RETURN!

A friend brought us here for happy hour. Grabbed the last three spots at the tiny bar and waited to be acknowledged. The bartender, Chase i think, seemed overwhelmed in a pretty empty dining room. We grabbed menus from next to us and were ready to order. Finally a lady asked if he needed any help and his response was “you can help those people if you want, if not, I don’t care.” Hey, at least we knew that he knew we were there. Ordered two apps and didn’t want to stay for round two of drinks. Apps were good but we had to ask for silverware and napkins. When our bill was presented there was an extra drink on there that we didn’t order and beer price didn’t match the menu price. Extra drink was removed but beer price was not corrected. The bar was a disaster.
