Came across this place while trying to find a place for lunch when we were traveling and was drawn to a picture of blueberry pizza. Checked out their menu and they have lots of different options for toppings! I was even happier when I noticed you can do half & half pizzas……so we tried 4 different pizzas!

First pizza was half peaches, basalmic reduction, goat cheese and basil. The 2nd half was the Maine blueberry, rosemary ricotta, roasted shallot and lemon zest.

Second pizza was half smoked BBQ Pulled pork, Fujitsu apple, red onion. The second half was chicken, bacon, ranch.

These were all so surprisingly delicious.
My sons favorite was the BBQ Pulled Pork one as he typically orders meat lovers. I could not decide on a favorite. The blueberry was a mild taste, where the peach had sweetness. The BBQ Pulled Pork was very flavorful and the chicken bacon was surprisingly good, I thought it would be my least favorite because i dont care for ranch.

Service was good and it wasnt too long for the pizzas, but a slight wait between the 2 being served. It’s a good thing we were sharing, so it wasnt a bother for us.
Would definitely recommend and will for sure go back when we get down there again. The place was clean.

Ordered the salmon protein bowl, they were out of salmon so I subbed with pork. Bowl was mounded with kale (which wasn’t listed as an ingredient). Once I got all the kale out, the bowl was tasty. I ordered a sparkling raspberry water. Which they were out of as well. So I had them refund me for that. Husband had a steak n cheese hoagie and fries. Both of those were great. I thought this was a restaurant but it’s more of a fast food spot. Not sit down spot.

Food was amazing. Got the cornbread, pulled pork and Mac pizza and their fries were cooked to perfection. We also ordered 3 other pizzas. Everyone of the 6 people were happy.

Counter service only at this location. We had the power bowls which are pretty good, but the salmon one comes cold and that was not what I was expecting! Food was good, but you order at the counter and sit down to eat then clean up after. Pricey compared to some other restaurants.

The Skowhegan location was full service. Guess I should have researched that ahead of time that Augusta was counter service only.

Does anyone else hate it when you are ordering for take out or just being handed your food at the counter and you are still prodded for a tip at the register? We have taken it too far.

This place has a great atmosphere and vibe. Perfect for the people who are waiting for their other half while they are shopping. The crispy pork bowl is incredible, one of the best burgers I’ve had (Maple Bacon Burger) and Pizza is perfect. The staff really have pride in their work and the business too. Went twice this week and will definitely be back.

Update: 07/07/24. My husband got swiss (swapped the swiss for american), mushroom burger with fries today. He was very pleased. He loves the burgers here and says it’s the best in town. I ordered the beer sampler. Not a fan but each person is different, someone else may like the flavors that I didn’t. Was fun to try at least. If I had to pick my favorite I would have to say I liked the sour raspberry the best out of my choices. Service was quick and place was clean.

We initially were hesitant on going there because my husband thought the pizza ideas they have are odd. Mashed potato pizza? My husband wasn’t all for that but I thought weird concoctions could be a great experience. I dragged him into going. We both absolutely loved it. I didn’t have the mashed potato pizza this time but I will next time. I got a regular slice of pizza and the dough was amazing. I usually never eat the crust but this place has the best thin crust dough I’ve ever had. I also had the beef bowl and that was definitely delicious and very filling, I had them add extra spice, soooo good. My husband had a burger with fries and he said that burger would even beat Gordon Ramseys Burger we had tried in Boston, so that’s saying a lot. I’m unsure if they just had a really good cook on shift that day or if that’s how it always is there but my husband was very pleased with his lunch.

Place has a casual, chill vibe to it. It’s cafeteria style where you put away your dishes in a bucket, and tipping is optional when you pay, if you decide to tip you just put it into a jar up at the register. They have old black and white photos around the building and near the bathroom there’s a complete wall of an old black and white photo all across the wall, pretty cool. Nice decor. The bathroom was clean, no dirty floor or trash and sinks were clean. The cashier was pleasant. They accept debit/credit and cash. Plenty of tables inside and they have seating outside. They brew their own beer and the name of the company is on all the beer cans, they also have merchandise for sale. Hats, shirts, cups. There is plenty of parking, that will never be an issue, big area. Prices are reasonable, an average price just like any other restaurant. I noticed a nearby table had cute little shot sized glasses for beer tasting, four or five different kinds of beers, very interesting idea and I may try that next time. I have heard mixed reviews about this place but our first time there was awesome and I totally recommend it to people.

Overall, 4 stars! <3

With the crapped haphazard seating and chairs constantly scraping the floor, can be a bit over stimulating. Then the cook staff that looked like a bunch of twenty nothings with hangovers paying off Saturday night’s beer tab…and when my wife asked for chicken tenders ( she wanted them for her salad) the ‘dude’ at the register said it was a kid meal. Anyway…was expensive AND asked for a tip in advance, not a fan

Came for lunch mid week. Quick and delicious. $14 for a burger. Fries were separate so added up quickly. $50 for two people for lunch. But the flavor was great. Would come back.

Portions on the bowls was a little small but it was tasty and not overpriced. I tried the Japanese brown rice bowl with tofu. My son had the Seoul bowl. We had some of their locally brewed beer, it was nothing special but was tasty as well. Next time I will try their pizza
