Our ordering started out rough due to we wanted the Bricktown Sampler appetizer, the server said we could not order it because they were out of the deep fried pickles and they would not substitute, which was ridiculous since they were out of one of the items. We were not happy about the situation, but ended up ordering another appetizer. We stated our disappointment to the server, but did not request to speak to a manager and just let the issue go.
To our pleasant surprise, right after we placed all of our orders, the Manager came over and said they were able to get the pickles for the sampler, since the other appetizer had already arrived, he gave us a complimentary fried pickles appetizer.
The Managers attention to customer satisfaction raised the “about to be 3 star rating” to a 5 star experience and review. He turned an unhappy situation around and made the entire table happy and pleased. Great job & kudo’s goes to him. I wish I had gotten his name and I would have mentioned him by name.
All of the food we ordered came out hot and as ordered. The alcohol beverages were made very well and nice cold beer is always a plus.
We will definitely be back for a return visit.
It was a slow Monday after the standard lunch rush. I waited about 5 minutes before someone asked if I’ve been helped and was seated in the bar.
I’m not sure what it is but recently waitstaff in general have been short and to the point. No “how you doing” or “how’s your day going” I’m not looking for a deep discuss but a little polite greeting is appreciated.
Overall a decent meal. The fish was tender and flaky to the point of falling apart if it wasn’t for the breading.
The entree was more on the “modern” side compared to the typical English pub style fish n chips. A panko like breading with herbs mixed in. Standard thin fries you would usually get with a burger and a pickle slaw.
The fish was good, the breading was good for what it was but not favored by my palate. Fries were a bit undercooked but still edible. Slaw had good texture but not a lot of flavor. The tartar that accompanied the dish was complex, like it was mixed with all the flavors that would go with fish and could easily overpower the fish.
The standout for me every single time is their BBQ pizza. It’s genuinely one of the best in the area . The BBQ sauce has a rich, slightly smoky sweetness that doesn’t overpower the rest of the ingredients. The balance is what makes it so good. The chicken is tender, the cheese melts perfectly, and the red onions add just enough bite to contrast the sweetness of the sauce. Every slice feels thoughtfully layered instead of thrown together.
Service at this location has consistently been attentive and friendly. Staff members are approachable, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick without making you feel rushed.
Another thing I appreciate is that Bricktown Brewery manages to feel local while still being consistent. The Midwest City location has its own comfortable neighborhood vibe, yet the quality of the food never wavers. If you’re in Midwest City and craving a solid BBQ pizza with great flavor balance and a welcoming environment, this spot absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
This place is regularly used for large gatherings and they always do a great job at hosting large groups. (They don’t take large reservations).
If you have kids, you can sit at regular tables or booths. Their mac n cheese is awesome.
My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week, and for good reason. He loves the BBQ Chicken Pizza and swears by it — he even saves a couple slices to take home every time. I usually get the Rustic Pepperoni and add peppers… one of my absolute favorites.
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The appetizers are elite. The Bavarian Pretzel Sticks have been our go-to for months — fluffy, perfectly salted, and trust me, getting caramel on the side is a game changer. Don’t knock it till you try it! The Boom Boom Shrimp is another favorite; the portion is great, and I’ve definitely eaten it as a full meal before. I’m from GA and the sauce is perfect. Their boneless wings are super good too, and the sauces always hit. I grab them to-go sometimes.
For sandwiches, the Honey Chicken Sandwich and Roast Beef French Dip are both really, really good. If you like spice, the Kick Chicken Sandwich is perfect — it honestly reminded me of the spicy sandwiches I had in Nashville. The sauce is incredible.
We’ve tried every burger and they’re all a hit. The Southwest and Rodeo burgers are top tier. For entrées, the gumbo is great, and the fried shrimp is fantastic. And the cocktails? Always good, every single time.
On top of all that, the staff checks in often, makes sure you’re taken care of, and they even offer a military discount. Bricktown Brewery really does it all — great food, great drinks, great service. Definitely recommend!
