A good slice located in a slice of history! Bricks and Brews on Route 66 in Baxter Springs has great pizza and great atmosphere! I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The place was sadly empty about 1pm, but there was a buffet with a good mix of fresh pies. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was delicious and I’m usually not a big fan. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce on a crispy, smoky crust. I didn’t partake, but there was a nice selection of draft beers in the bar area too…my mouth was watering! I’ll be back with reinforcements!

Ate here this evening. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was great. I had the smoked wings and, unfortunately, I was not impressed. At $26 for 24 wings, they’re a bit pricey. However, I understand what goes into smoking wings so I understand the price. I split the 24 between buffalo, barbecue, and spicy peach. I had been told they were a dry rub wing, however they came covered in, what I consider, an excessive amount of sauce. The buffalo had far too much vinegar in the sauce, to the point that they were unpleasant to eat. The barbecue and spicy peach tasted exactly the same. I had asked the waitress if the kitchen had possibly made a mistake, but she insisted they hadn’t. All in all, though pricey, it was decent. However, not a place I would go out of my way to patronize.

The pizza crust was charcoal. That made the whole pizza taste burned. I have tried this place at least 5 times, and this happens almost every time. I realize it is wood-fired pizza, but it shouldn’t be so burned that one only tastes the burn.

Limited menu, sandwich or a pizza. Ordered appetizer of fried ravioli. Came out burnt on the bottom from wood grill. Atmosphere kids running everywhere. Has a lot of potential but just wasn’t the place to be, paid the tab, 2 beers and appetizer $18

First time visiting the restaurant. It was an excellent experience. We had the best waiter (Blake)..he was very attentive, professional, and didn’t hesitate to answer our questions! We will definitely be back because of the awesome service we received today! Blake made our visit very enjoyable and we were able to sit back and relax, and just enjoy ourselves!

We came to watch a wonderful band, and have pizza and salads. The salad was great, but the Margarita cauliflower crust pizza was under done, and was extremely soft. I was looking forward to it because i need gf options. I think I’m going to stick to just salads from now on.
