First time dining here. The food was okay, simply what you would typically expect from a bar n grill. They had live band playing. The establishment is very spacious, offering outdoor, indoor, and or bar. They have a section upstairs. I didn’t go up there. They also have a clean small salad bar. Overall experience was great since they rearranged and accommodated for this large party.

They are trying…. But the food was sub par and the atmosphere isn’t good. Our waitress was more interested in talking with her friend at the bar than helping us. And she knew very little about the menu, had to keep getting help for basic questions. I ate the topping from the flatbread but the crust wasn’t edible. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad and the menu nor the waitress though to mention that it was grilled chicken. The chicken was already seasoned and had flavor then they just tossed in buffalo sauce. Very poorly done.

A good slice located in a slice of history! Bricks and Brews on Route 66 in Baxter Springs has great pizza and great atmosphere! I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The place was sadly empty about 1pm, but there was a buffet with a good mix of fresh pies. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was delicious and I’m usually not a big fan. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce on a crispy, smoky crust. I didn’t partake, but there was a nice selection of draft beers in the bar area too…my mouth was watering! I’ll be back with reinforcements!

I loved this place it was fantastic! Baxter Springs is a beautiful small town with lots of history. Spend the day on the town and then come and try this place out to finish off your night. This is a perfect date night location, lunch spot, sports bar and basically anything you want it to be. The pizza was fantastic, some of the best wood fired pizza I have had and at a super reasonable price. And also we had their chicken Caesar salad and they make their own Caesar dressing and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back to try more of their pizzas and hopeful try some of their sandwiches as well.

Came in with my wife and daughters last Sunday and again tonight and we really enjoy this place. The food was delicious but I took one star off the food just because they have been out of something both times but we still loved what we got. We had a waitress named Amanda or Samantha. Worth mentioning that last week when we came in a couple was being so rude and nasty to her and she handled it with grace and came straight over to us with a smile and positive attitude. They had just got new menus and she was explaining that she was having to manually enter things and the couple next to us were super harsh about her trying to type it all in. Other than that service was great. She gave us a remote to watch the game we wanted to see and checkout was easy with the QR code. Best Bloody Mary we have had in a long time and she took the time to gather some cheese, olives, and meats to make it loaded for my wife. Tonight we enjoyed live music and the energy was great. We will be back.

Stopped for lunch passing through Baxter Springs. Bricks & Brews Woodfire Grill and Pub proved to be a good choice. Typical small town establishment with good home cooked food, 9 commercial beers on tap, and friendly locals enjoying lunch and a beer. Server was efficient, food came promptly, and the beer was cold. Portions were generous. We enjoyed the Cavatappi Pasta and Greek Salad.

Came in tonight (Valentines day) and sat at a table for 20 minutes AFTER walking up to the waiter and letting him know we had never been here before, and asked if we just sit wherever. He said yes just sit where ever you’d like and we’ll be with you shortly. Sat there for 20 minutes with my wife and kid and couldn’t even be brought a menu let alone asked what drinks we would like. We walked out and no one said a word. We where really excited to try a new place driving 25 minutes away to get here, and are very disappointed and definitely won’t be back.

Fantastic place – homemade all around, including the service. The beer is ice cold, the beer cheese is so tasty, the pizza is delicious. Definitely make this a stop.

I was at concert in Miami Oklahoma, check out the town, ate their, driving home, going though Baxter, went by Brick & brews, some people were outside, caught my attention, as I drove by, sign said, Bricks & Brew, drove pass couple blocks and turn around and head back, I park and outdoor patio on the side of building, I just walked inside, the bartender just happen to be wiping down the table next to the patio, I walked in and she greeted me, told me about the pizza buffet on Sunday and during the week, I checked the place out, since this place is away from KC, they had games on cbs and fox tv, I went around the back, they had salad bar and pizza bar too, talked to the dude who was friendly, walk around to the front and meet my new friend the dog, went around and watch fox tv, had some beers, this place is a must to visit, joined their reward club,

We’ve been wanting to stop at this place forever on our way to/from Grand Lake and when we finally did, it did not disappoint! ,
There was clearly a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the layout & details – it has a bar side, family dining side, and upstairs pool hall and hang out area, with none of it feeling too separated or disconnected. Smaller details like the transmission case sink and lovely baby changing table (seriously thank you, family accommodations make a huge difference when dining out) showed just how much care and heart they put into this place.
But to top it off, the food was just as amazing as we expected – The Machine and The Swanson pizza were prepared quickly and were full of flavor and fresh ingredients.
Excited to make this one of our go-to stops!
