Went there for our anniversary. Very cozy, cocktails were tasty and not too expensive. The entres were fantastic. The pork chop with mashed potatoes made me cry a little bit on each bite. The halibut was fresh and delicate. Timothy our waiter had great table banter and an encyclopedic knowledge of the menu and specials. It was a fantastic and memorable evening.

To preface this, my wife and i only eat out once or twice a year and we are both steak lovers so our choices tend to be steakhouses. I had never heard of Bricks, but the wife found it on google, so we decised to give it a shot.

It wasn’t bad but wasn’t that great either. Ordered the ribeye and it was cooked as I wanted (medium rare) but the seasoning was a bit too salty. We found it odd that it came with fired and not mashed potatoes. I didn’t finish half of the steak. Service was good though.

We felt like the atmosphere was a classy star (Elko). The service was amazing very attentive and the stuff was very professional and friendly. Kept drinks full. The salad tasted very good but was very hard to eat. The calm chowder had real large chunks of clams and the soup was very flavorful and classic. The scampi prawns were large the sauce had tons of garlic and lemon. The lamb was amazing. Best rack of lamb in Reno. Cooked to perfection order medium rare was perfect….. It was really good plan on showing family the dish. Cheesecake was creamy and fluffy could tell it was made with love. Bread pudding had nuts dried fruit and a Carmal sause to bath in. Thank for the great see you next time. Only thing I was bummed out about was the menu on Google doesn’t match the menu when you sit down.

We love dining at Bricks. Always excellent service. The salads, bread, creamy onion soup and coconut prawns are delicious! My steaks are always cooked to perfection and my Old Fashioned & Manhattan cocktails are made with the BEST cherries and local Eureka Gold bourbon. Save room for dessert and cappuccino!
