Food is great atmosphere is even better! Now I definitely choose my times to go because it is a college town and I am 50 years old, but I will tell you hands down the best place to go to watch Sunday football! If you’re a college football buff I would assume Saturday would be the time for you but just remember you’re in a college town so you’re going to get college vibes if you choose to go when they go! Or you could just be cool and go with the flow! I haven’t eaten many many meals of different kind and I enjoyed every one of them! If you have something specific that you like done to whatever you order please let them know they will do it Just don’t expect them to read your mind! And nobody can do that lol

Had a wonderful meal of grilled chicken breast with Alfredo noodles and mushrooms with onions. My mom got chastised for asking for her plain cheeseburger to have cheese on it. I heard her tell man it was a plain cheese burger and he even repeated plain cheeseburger back. It came out as a plain hamburger so when he was called over to correct it, was very vocal rude to my mom.

Both me and my lady agreed on this score. Pizza tasted awesome even after ordering it and not eating right away because we were getting our drink on. But on the way way home we tore that thing up and even being a bit cold, it was delightful.

Went here with a family member. Preface this by saying my Philly was 10/10, but my guest said their Greek salad was the worst they’ve ever had. When he asked the owner about the lack of olives he turned his back. I’d probably have gone back, but after this, probably not.

I want to start by saying the waitress wasn’t mean just dismissive, also fairly slow given how empty was at the time. At one point she actively was looking straight past/over us while we were trying to make conversation. We are not owed conversation but we’re fairly nice people so we at least deserve not to be ignored. She was nice but I would say overall again, dismissive. The food was bland. Genuinely no flavor, now I will concede we got the cheese fries but we could make better at home. The price I will say was overall fair. I just want to mention we’ve been treated way kinder/had better service at the fast food restaurants around here. It was fairly rude.

The drinks felt a little light but the Philly was really good. Tons of great choices on the menu!

The Brickhouse Tavern is a nice place to have lunch and watch a Football game. They have so many large TVs throughout the establishment and a bar area. The menu has a large selection with pizzas, subs, burgers, salads, pasta, and more. I ordered the Italian sub, which consisted of provolone cheese, pepperoni, ham, salami, tomato, and lettuce. It came with a side of potato salad and tasted excellent. I also ordered chili wings, which was also pretty good. The waitress was hard to understand and she had trouble understanding me. Her English wasn’t the best and ordering was a task. For some reason, she said they didn’t have buffalo wings, which I doubt is the case. Other than that, I really enjoyed my lunch at the Brickhouse Tavern. I give it my recommendation.

We stopped in for a quick bit to eat. We got the chicken nachos so good and the price and service was good.

We had a small issue, and I brought it to the owner. He handled it completely over the top, absolutely excellent. We both had burgers… the brickhouse and the Italian. Both were excellent, best burgers we have had in a very long time.
The bar tender, although we didn’t get drinks at all, was great, he and the owner mgr checked up on us.
It was slow when we got there, not busy at all. Great food.
Thanks to the great attention of the owner we will be back.

This restaurant has a large menu full of bar and tavern favorites and do a good job with food quality and quantity. Because it is close to William and Mary College, parking can be a bit of a challenge. There is some parking behind the building but very little parking on the street. We’ve always had good service at the bar. They probably serve decent cocktails, but the owner is very stingy with wine pours compared to every other restaurant in Williamsburg – barely 5 ounces if that much. If he us behind the bar, we just turn around and go to one of the other gazillion restaurants in the area.
