We wandered in on a Saturday around 6pm, and the place was hopping, busy to the gills with take outs and with dine in. The owner (very kind) managed to get us a table for 4 quickly. The wait to order took about 20min, but from that point things came our relatively quickly. The dinner meals come with a salad, simple, but ok. We ordered linguine & clams, penne ala vodka, veal, and kids penne with butter.
Food is ok, not the food from your mother or grandmother’s Italian kitchen, but can hit the spot when you are craving a simple pasta and sauce. Portion size is good as is the pricing. House wine was quite nice and reasonable.

Came here for a quick bite with a group of four. We ordered a small salad, Philly cheese steak and a mushroom pizza.
Salad was good and a very light dish.
Philly cheese steak was perfectly meaty.
The pizza came out hot and had the perfect balance of vegetables and cheese.
Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Good amount of parking. Music wasn’t that loud. Overall I recommend to anyone looking for a nice local restaurant or if you are just passing by.

This is our favorite local restaurant. My kids are obsessed with their spaghetti and meatballs. We’ve tried many different entrees and loved each of them. Authentic and delicious Italian food. Gluten free pasta options are delicious. Brickhouse is also our go to for pizza, best in the area! We’ve used their catering for a family party and everyone raved about how good it was- especially the penne alla vodka! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate and the prices cant be beat.

Brickhouse is always welcoming and comfortable . On this particular night, we enjoyed a great early dinner of pasta and seafood (with, of course, the great Brickhouse salad and their outstanding vinaigrette dressing – which I think they should bottle and sell). When we left, we found that a wintry evening had set in very quickly.

Food quality / price (value) rating 8. The atmosphere is classic Italian. I had the Shrimp Fra Diavalo over linguine. It included seven large shrimp (quite generous), and a huge amount of linguine that was cooked properly. The meal included some unique style homemade bread and an iceberg garden salad. It was all quite good. The wife had the Risotto and dried tomatoes special, which had a wonderful taste that I couldn’t identify. They serve pizza also, and it must be good as there was a steady flow of to go orders being picked up the entire time we were there. They have a beer (bottles and cans) and wine license only. The prices were quite reasonable, and the service was excellent.

Visiting a friend, and found this place. We went with pizza, well I can eat pizza every day of the week. With that said we ordered a garlic and broccoli. The pie came out and it was a good size pie, however I was expecting a bunch of roasted pieces of garlic. We got garlic powder which is not the same. The pie was good, the food that went by looked even better. If I’m in the area again I will try this place but I’m going for the chicken parm that went by as I was waiting for my pizza.

My family of 4 had a great experience at Brickhouse. Our pasta came out steaming hot and was delicious and not over salted. The service was attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely eat here again when in New Milford.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! I have been dining here for over a decade, and even moved about 40 minutes away and still make the trip because it’s that good. The food is always consistently delicious, the pizza is crispy, flavorful, and always generously topped. It’s a wonderful, warm family-type of atmosphere. I can’t say enough positive about this place. If you like fresh, authentic Italian food and appreciate great service, you are certainly missing out if you’ve never been- highly recommend!
