Excellent meal! Will definitely return when visiting the area in the future. Atmosphere was quiet & relaxing, not to mention a beautiful historical house. Service was polite & professional as well. They really knocked it out of the park with the blueberry bourbon jam on the Smokey Mountain burger! Perfect pairing. I got the jam on the side and cut my burger in half to try it on just half to start. Oh my, it was so good!! My chi tea was the best ever too. Looked pretty, perfect temp and just the right blend of spice flavor!

It was a true delight to visit this place twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. The coffee is spectacular. I got the pumpkin latte (hot) and the Steak salad. The Gyro Omlette didn’t disappoint either. They offer gf bread! I highly recommend this place for any dining experience. The atmosphere is great and every room is different!

My family has been going here for decades; the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting is legendary. Took my 90-year-old aunt to lunch here yesterday for Christmas. I had the chicken and waffles, PA Dutch style (chicken in gravy poured over the waffle), with a side of fried eggplant. It was just as good as my mom used to make, a familiar dinner. Service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was authentic. And they have a liquor license now, so I had myself a locally brewed beer! As long as the road takes me here, I’ll keep stopping. (You bet we got the cake: outstanding!)

We visited this restaurant twice in a weekend and it’s funny how much the experience can change with the right team working. Our first visit was great! Amazing service, beautiful atmosphere and the food was perfect! Our second trip was a little less great due to the server. She was inattentive and seemed to be in a bad mood. We’d return but probably ask for a different server.

I’ve been here a few times but not really sure what that entrance is supposed to be but gives the whole experience a nice vibe.
Food is excellent here. I’ve tried a number of menus items and have not been disappointed. So whatever your interest, it’s going to be tasty. The new mountain smoke burger, I requested the jam on the side. It was a nice flavor thick blue berry jam.
Waitresses are very pleasant.
My number one is the coffee. Has a great flavor. Top 5 of all time coffee I have had the pleasure to meet.

We went for lunch 4 days before Christmas. The place was packed and we had to wait half an hour to sit down. Our waitress looked exhausted but was still very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The food was very good. Fish tacos don’t get better than this. They have a nice selection of hot drinks that are delicious and presented in an aestheticly pleasing way. We would come here again.

Had a very nice breakfast with my sister Kierayoung lady who took care of us was so sweet and kind she tried her best to attentive it was really busy, she made every effort to come by our table to check on us ask if we needed anything more. She took an extra order for me to take home. So in reality I had breakfast and dinner and that is where my low rating comes in. Ordered baked macaroni and cheese and shepherds pie to take home baked macaroni cheese wasn’t baked at all it was macaroni in a sloppy sauce and then charged me 17.95 for it
If you offer baked it should be baked that means crusty brown top not a soupy mess I tried to email the restaurant about this ,I suppose it’s not important so I will post it here. Maybe I will get a response.

Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday & they were hopping but seated very fast. I really enjoyed my spicy bloody mary (though the celery stick needs scaled back and our waitress agreed!). I had the creamed chipped beef over toast and it had such great flavor and not overly salty. My hubby had the stewed tomato special which was stewed tomatoes over eggs & home fries and the taste was amazing!!!! Put my fork in it more than once!!! My bestie had the avocado toast which was delicious but so much, she only finished half. All very good and great staff!
