At brick & tin, we believe that people should know where their food comes from. Since most food consumed by Americans these days travels hundreds or thousands of miles before making it to a hungry mouth, we have carefully sourced our ingredients from purveyors as close to home as possible. We also believe that it is important for people to enjoy food that is free of hormones, chemicals, or other additives. Meats prepared here are humanely raised in pastures and free roaming ranges. Our purveyors are serious enough about this to pursue and obtain animal welfare certification. We care about our local farmers and support farming that is responsible and sustainable.

The food was delicious. I got the salmon and granola chef kiss. The macaroons was delightful. The cookie was sweet and savory. The service was great and very inviting. Stopped here for some lunch after my friend graduated. Its a lovely little restaurant with absolutely beautiful decor and a small bakery on the side. I had the Ham Sandwich Panini and a fruit cup. My mom had the simple salad and mac and cheese. Honestly all of it was amazing except the simple salad. I understand it is literally called ‘simple salad’ but it truly was just lettuce and some vinaigrette with a little bit of parm. Everything else though was delicious and our servers were so kind. Don’t know if I would come here again, but I did have a good experience.

They have many dairy free options and a few gluten free options here. There was no line on a Friday morning. I ordered the sesame chicken bowl. The flavors were delicious but I didn’t like that some of the stuff in the bowl was cold and sone was warm. My husband had the brisket sandwich with the Cup Conecuh & Corn Soup. He took a lactaid because we weren’t sure if the bread was buttered or not. He enjoyed it but there isn’t much he doesn’t like. Overall I wish there were more organic or gluten free options but I would get the sesame bowl again.

Alex and Katie are so fun, so sweet, and incredibly accommodating. It’s really nice to not feel like a burden when it comes to adjusting to my allergies– I want to feel like anyone else who deserves a nice meal out. And this was that 🙂
We sat at the bar and had delicious cocktails, tasted some new to us beers, and happily ate the beautiful selection of food that was brought out promptly. Some places really make you feel like it’s your fault when something comes out in a way that’s unexpected, but everyone is incredibly hospitable and it’s obvious that they take pride in making sure you’re happy with the meal.
I love the cool, dim vibe of the place. Upscale vibes yet casual and comfortable. I think I’ve found my new favorite place

I the atmosphere is really nice and welcoming. I am here on vacation and this has been my favorite dining experience. The food is simple but oh so good. I had the turkey club with Mac and cheese. The heirloom tomato definitely sent this sandwich to a new and better level. I had the garden dove to drink and it was one of the best beverages I have ever had. Johnny R. was my bartender and made the experience perfect. Thank you!

Stopped in without a reservation Monday evening as I was staying locally for business. I was surprised how busy it was for that early in the week, but they found me a table. Food was good. Service was fine. Given front of restaurant and name I somehow expected more of an everyday, bar menu but this is defining upscale dining.

The Turkey Melt with pimento cheese was very tasty. Loved the crusty bread with soft center. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and cheesy. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce on the brisket, but that was just me. The meat was good.
The Bakery was amazing. The blueberry Cheesecake muffin was moist and delightful. The no-bake chocolate cookie, French macaroons, brown butter coconut cookies and chocolate chip cookies were worth going back for!!
