Absolutely amazing!! I had the beignets and I was blown away. The best I ever had and not overly sweet! I also thoroughly enjoyed the bayou Benedict! Check out my full review on TikTok or facebook yo_baylahhh

Brick & Spoon is hands down one of the BEST brunch spots in Tuscaloosa! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of good vibes.

The food was absolutely amazing — everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. The drinks were just as good (brunch cocktails on point!), and the menu has so many options that it’s hard to choose.

The service was top tier. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without missing a beat.

If you’re looking for a place to brunch with your girls, have a cute date, or celebrate something special, this is it. 10/10 experience — we will definitely be back!

This is by far the best breakfast I have had in Tuscaloosa! I’m coming back for sure. Edward our waiter was great! He helped us pick what to eat. He took care of my kiddos order to make sure she could eat before she got hangry. Let’s talk food. The Beignets were AMAZING!! Nice a crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. The strawberry marmalade was so good! I had the Killer Creole omelet and boy when I tell you it was filling!! It was also delicious and stuffed there so many shrimp! The corn grits were not that great but I personally do not like corn. My boyfriend ate all of his!! He loved it! My kiddo had the pancakes and of course I had to try them and they were GREAT!! The Day Break Rita was perfect!! Thank you so much for such great service and food!! The music was also a vibe too!!

Are you freaking kidding me? So we’re in town for the OU/Bama game (Sorry, not sorry, to ruin your homecoming party) and decided to stop in for some breakfast. Started off with an Irish coffee…top o’the marnin! Just lovely.
Then came the plates…oh…my…gawd!!! So, lemme preface my next statements by saying, I love me some cheese grits. Self proclaimed connoisseur actually. These are LEGIT! Could’ve eaten an entire bowl and been happy. But then I dug into that Bayou Benny…and got BAPTIZED. I mean, I don’t really even like benedicts… until now.

I loved this place and will return with more family when we come back in a few years to reclaim our state championship.

BOOMER!!

We had a great meal here and honestly everything hit the spot. The bananas foster French toast was rich and sweet without being over the top, and the shrimp and grits with poached eggs were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly, food came out hot, and the portions were generous. Suggestion on table layout, put some kind of screen between hostess stand and the table behind. It’s too close, you can hear everything going on there.

Only knocking it down to 4 stars because they don’t serve lattes or specialty coffee—would’ve been the perfect finishing touch. To be a breakfast forward place with great looking Bloody Marys, the extra effort to handle lattes would be a good move. Other than that, no complaints. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

We came in last Sunday early like 7:30 and it wasn’t to busy. We where greeted as soon as we opened the door and sat rather fast with 6 people in my party. The food came out super fast and I wasn’t able to finish my pancakes but it was good. I can’t remember my servers name but she was super helpful and so was the rest of the staff. This place is a 12 out of 10 and a most go!!! I will definitely be back!!!!

We had the deviled eggs starter and I had the three cheese and ham omelette and my fiancé had the eggs Benedict. All were delicious and the service is 6 stars.

Got the Cali-burger and truffle fries. Burger had really good taste, which is rare. Not sure if there was any avocado, but no loss, I contemplated leaving it off anyway. The truffle fries were really good if you like garlic. Server was really nice and did pretty well. Good lunch, could have been split between two, or half to go. Good value for current prices.

Great experience! First time at this location. We ordered bar drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. Fried Green tomatoes were our appetizer. It was served with a rich, creamy sauce with shrimp in it (we had the sauce on the side). We also ordered shrimp and Grits (cheese Grits). It was topped with a poached egg. I ordered the grilled chicken Florentine Benedict (2 poached eggs ontop). It was served with a side as well. Both dishes were great! Filling and rich. Our server was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back!
