Stopped in for a drink at the bar and had a horrible experience. The Bloody Mary I ordered using the menu name was not what was provided. The next mule had a long hair on the glass by the rim. I mentioned it and the barkeep seemed put out to make a new one. Who serves an olive with no pimento? In a $9 drink?!

We tried to ask what was good to do in town and she said there are some restaurants and mentioned the mall- there isn’t anything open in the mall! She had no customer service skills and lakes engaged conversational skills. O asked about the upcoming regatta and she had nothing to say. From my side I was off put by her attitude after the first drink was presented and she definitely put the salt in The name!!

My husband was so off-put by her attitude he didn’t want to eat at the bar and we decided to spend our money elsewhere!!

I told her I was only leaving 10% because of her poor service, but I was leaving something.

She did tell us “I have good customer service skills” and, as we all know – if you have to tell someone you do, you don’t!

Ordered the Cajun Pasta with Chicken and a Cheesecake. It was through room service as I was staying there. The pasta had almost no sauce and there was no Cajun flavor. The cheesecake was delicious but at $9, the portion was too small.

Gave a 1 star, but wasn’t earned. Sat at a table. Waitress was presenting check to a few tables nearby.
Tried to get her attention verbally. Was ignored. She then intentionally turned her back to us.
The patrons at the tables were alarmed by her behavior.

Got up and left. Food and drinks looked like it would be good.
After our event, restaurant and bar was closed (10 pm), although there were many who would have enjoyed access

One of the bartenders was slightly rude. I also did not know this but their menu is very limited and don’t plan on bringing the kids as all they really had available for drinks were all alcoholic. Had to walk to the Hotel’s little shop to buy soda at 3.20 cents for a normal bottle of mountain dew or pepsi. Other than the menu being super limited, likely due to covid so I don’t blame them, the lack of “normal drinks” and the one very uninterested bartender lady it was a great time. Really good scotch, and the burger was absolutely incredible even before the alcohol. Definitely would recommend. Just bring a beverage with you unless you want a beer or mixed drink.

Poor service. Walked into the restaurant and saw nobody. Picked a table and sat down. Waited 15 minutes for someone to appear. A manager dressed person looked at us for a few seconds then turned away before a server appeared about 5 minutes later. She was very attentive. We ordered drinks and looked at the menu. It was dismal and over priced. The burger was 23 dollars. We decided to pay for our drinks and go back to the Hilton. The same burger was 15.

Had a good vegan meal here – they were able to adapt the mushroom burger to be on sourdough bread, with a side of wasabi fries. The hummus tray is also generous and lemon-y with a good variety of dipping options and olives.

With the Wuhan Virus restrictions dissipating rapidly, there is no excuse for this establishment maintaining a skeleton menu! The menu selection at any local gas station mini-mart is more extensive than this. We had salad & french fries. The french fries were mediocre at best. We had 2 of the smallest cheesecake wedges ever presented. See pictures. We ordered a pizza when we got back to our room. For shame Marriot, for shame.

It appeared they cooked the proteins, stacked them on frozen vegetables, and put it under a broiler. Trout and pork chop were burnt, but polenta and mashed potatoes underneath were cold. Succotash was inedible… corn and lima beans were dry and hard.

Great Food and Service! This hotel bar and restaurant had the best grilled chicken ceasar salad I have ever had and if you only knew my addiction to this particular dish you would know that is saying something! The room service menu paralleled this menu and that service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this bar and restaurant anytime of the day or night for a quick bite or full dinner. The Moscow mule was also top notch!
