Brick House Cafe is a must-visit spot in Plant City! The food is absolutely delicious, and their corned beef hash is hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, crispy, and full of flavor.
Great portions, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make this place even better. If you’re looking for an amazing breakfast or brunch, Brick House Cafe will not disappoint. Highly recommended!

First time at this establishment and I was not disappointed. I ordered the standard breakfast, 2 eggs over medium , bacon crispy, hash browns crispy and raisen toast. Most places cannot produce over medium eggs and they hit the mark perfectly. That rarely happens in my experience. The rest of the food was cooked as ordered and appeared quickly. My friend had the meatloaf special. They didn’t think the mashed potatoes were from scratch but reported the yellow squash side was delicious.

Although the parking lot appeared to be full the interior was spacious and there were plenty of tables open. The service was fast friendly service. The waitress waited until she was bringing our food to tell us her name. (They are only open for breakfast and lunch.) There was a very short wait time for hot food to arrive at our table. There was no signage for the restrooms and they are located at the very back of the restaurant. A group came in and was seated at tables that were set up too close to our booth. After they arrived I had a hard time getting service from our waitress.
The cashier was distracted and I had to point out I was paying with cash (I had money out) to avoid the credit card surcharge. I had to answer that I wanted a receipt and had to tell her two more times I wanted a receipt.
Not the restaurants fault but I parked in a handicap spot and another vehicle pulled in too close beside me in an open area that was marked with angled lines to indicate it was not a parking spot. I had to back out so my passenger could get in my car.

Everything was delicious, and the customer service was outstanding! This was our first time here, and we are so happy that we stopped in. Our server was Kaitlyn, and she was awesome! We will be back whenever we travel back through Plant City.

We are new to the area and would like to not only start reviewing again but find a regular spot that we feel welcomed. Coming in we were greeted by Stanley who we found out was the owner. Very polite and inviting. From our observation he was familiar with the regulars and involved in the restaurant. We were seated promptly and had our drinks on the table within minutes. We would have preferred if they would’ve asked beforehand about our seating preference but not a deal breaker at all. Our waitress was patient with our indecisiveness and gave us all the time we needed to make a decision while checking in regularly to see if we were ready or needed any help. Our cups never went dry. When asking about items on the menu we were reassured if we received anything that we weren’t satisfied with they would have no issue making it right or getting us something else. However, this was not needed. Our food came out rather quickly and did not disappoint. It smelled amazing and we forgot to snap pictures before digging in. We ordered the 2 eggs with two pork chops, homefries, and a biscuit for one meal. The 2 eggs with country fried steak, grits, and toast for the other. All tasted fresh. Everything was seasoned to please everyone. Enough to give it a great flavor but not too much for those who prefer less. My spouse added a dash of salt and pepper to the grits and I added a bit of hot sauce to my pork. The homefries and biscuit were definitely made from scratch, if not they fooled us, crispy around the edges, soft where it mattered and packed full of flavor. Pork chops were juicy and seasoned well. The steak was fried perfectly golden with a nice white pepper gravy. The grits could have come off a minute or two earlier but it did not ruin anything. My spouse ate almost every bite. We were checked on to make sure everything was to our liking and at the end of our meal we officially met the owner, Stanley. He came to make sure everything was okay and asked for any feedback. A great experience. For these large portions and great service our meal was only $42 before Tip (there is also a slight fee noted at the bottom of the menu for using a card instead of cash). Our only actual complaint was that we didn’t have much privacy being placed out in the middle with booths all around and we received a couple straight stares and a few looks from various individuals throughout our meal. We are an interracial gay couple who is completely new to the area and that might be different from what the customers are accustomed to. It definitely looked like maybe a lot of locals. We will never know but nothing stopped the great experience we received from the staff and owner.

I’ve been passing this place up because the parking lot is always so full, but there were plenty of tables available. Great food.

The family and I come here on a Sunday morning and the place was already hopping. We were seated quickly and the nice server came over to take our drink order shortly after. Our food came out hot and quick. The portions were plentiful too! We will be back again in the future.

I’ll start off with the good. The server was friendly, and the pancakes are delicious although one of them could have been cooked a little longer. The menu advertises the syrup as being served warm, but it was not. I also was never asked if I wanted my coffee refilled. She asked and brought refills on my friend’s tea and her son’s root beer, but never asked me if I needed my coffee topped off. The food was good enough to return, and hopefully the service will be a bit better on the next visit

We have eaten at so many places and by far Brick House is the perfect atmosphere, food quality and server friendliness.
Everything was hot, fresh and delivered to the table in minutes! The taste made me feel like we sitting at my mother’s table eating food that was made from scratch and love.
Our server, Jeanine, was attentive, had an awesome attitude and made out experience fun! She never let our cups go empty with coffee and had a joke each time she came to the table, especially when I told her I didn’t like bacon.
This is a MUST GO for anyone in the area or looking for the perfect family restaurant.
