TL;DR: A forgettable culinary experience made memorable by a wonderful waitress and a ludicrously unskilled bar staff.

What should have been casual dining at a restaurant related to one I quite enjoy (The restaurant of the same name in Stillwater) ended up leaving a rather bad taste in my mouth, overcooked salmon aside. I have a partner with a grain allergy, not to be confused with celiac disease, which is a sensitivity specifically to gluten within some grains like wheat. This is usually not an issue, as generally restaurant staff are incredibly kind when it comes to accommodating such things. In this particular instance, a request was made for a craft cocktail, not pre-mixed, that was made with vodka. We made sure to look up the vodka to see what its primary ingredients are, and it was a grain spirit. Considering that my partner has had bad experiences with alcohols in the past containing grains, as quality of distillation may vary, we decided to play it safe and asked for said cocktail with a different vodka not made from something that is an allergen to one of our diners. We were very surprised to hear that the bartender was unable to do this. The waitress was incredibly kind and explained to us that the cocktails allowed no substitutes. We moved on from this and had different drinks. Fast forward through some over cooked salmon and asparagus, mediocre cocktails, and a comically long wait for a neat scotch, we went on our way. My partner left a review to voice her confusion and displeasure at this policy and received a rather rude response. All personal feelings aside, a restaurant that would so abruptly discount or even deny a customer allergy when such a simple substitution is available, which even the greenest of bar staff would be able to easily create a new, balanced experience, I’m afraid that I have to voice my displeasure and suggest against this business.

Lively atmosphere, service was fabulous. The lobster mac and cheese was heavy on the salt. The donut burger was reported to be a bit greasy but pretty good. Nashville chicken was reported to be pretty good.

I like this place, but this last visit was underwhelming. The smoked Old Fashioned is not worth it. The presentation is cool – I like how you can leave the cover on indefinitely. But the product underneath was disappointing. Instead of using a large cube of ice they filled the glass with small cubes, thus watering down the drink. Meh. The duck bacon wontons were also overhyped in the posted comments. They were fine, but a little bland. And I certainly didn’t detect any bacon. The brisket poutine was okay, but the meat was pretty fatty. The peanut butter dessert pie/cake was the highlight. Excellent! Really enjoyed that.

Amazing food, loved our waiter. The candied bacon appetizer was really good, the jalapeño one has a nice bite to it . I ordered the beef short rib ravioli which was even better than I expected. I suggest the “Basil Berry Peach lemonade” and the “You’re my boy blue” drinks. The “Smoking Gun Maple Old fashion” is a cool presentation, although I did not taste it.

This place never disappoints! Their Duck bacon wontons are the greatest thing EVER!!!! Their old fashion/whiskey cocktails are incredible And it’s always fun to work down the menu and try something new. The bartenders are so fun and I will always chose to sit at the bar!

Let me start this off by saying our waitress was PHENOMENAL. The service was lovely (albeit super slow since it seemed like they were understaffed) and so was the food.

I have a wheat allergy, so I cannot drink wheat based vodka. When I was in yesterday after my car got totaled and my partner wanted to buy me a drink and let me lament, I couldn’t believe they had a cotton candy cocktail. I LOVE cotton candy like a 5 year old despite being old enough to drink. Very exciting. And it was with real cotton candy, not flavored vodka. It had a wheat based vodka listed, so I asked to swap for anything non-wheat based. The bartender literally refused despite knowing it was due to an allergy. I almost wanted to cry, despite how pathetic that sounds. It was honestly embarrassing and hurt my feelings. And the blood orange martini was meh.

Anyway, anyone with an allergy, do NOT go here. They don’t like you.

EDIT: The manager said it’s gluten free but I have a WHEAT allergy, not a gluten one.

EDIT 2: Owner is trying to tell me I’m lying about reacting to grain based alcohol lol crazy

The blackberry and mango wine slushies were a fantastic start!
Highly recommend the salmon topped with crab stuffing.
Ended with a Mr Peanut butter martini for dessert
Loved it all and our service was top notch. Thanks Kareen!

Great experience! Nice patio area, scratch kitchen, friendly staff, and my server Alex was pretty busy but kept on top of my refills even though I was outside. I was not treated worse/ignored for being a solo patron. I got their version of a breakfast burger: everything was perfect down to the egg. Pickle quality here is excellent. Fries are excellent, the $1.50 Upcharge for Parm fries is absolutely worth it. They stayed crispy until the end of the meal. Glad I happened to be looking for a burger in the area, will definitely come back when I’m able to also indulge in some cocktails from the bar.

Ah. May. Zing. So good. Had the mr pb martini and the pull apart bread with cheese. So good I almost died.
Came back again, and I tried the lobster mac and cheese. Way better than the shrimp thing I had. Way. Way better. Also, Im still convinced the cheese jalapeño pull apart bread and dip would bring world peace. Try it.

Went at 230 on a Saturday. Waited 6 minutes at the front to be noticed. Once seated we waited approximately 20 minutes for someone to greet us and offer a beverage. We had decided to just leave if they didn’t show up in 2 minutes at that time. There was no one seated upstairs and it was about 60 percent full. Service was soooo slow and I’m not sure if it was considered understaffed? My husband’s sliders were Meh and the French Onion soup looked amazing but was inedible. So sad and we left feeling bad for our server. We won’t be back.
