Was excited to try this place all the food on the menu looked good. I ordered the Big Sassy Burger cooked medium and it came out like a hockey puck super overcooked and dry. The toppings on top the burger were good I think if it was cooked properly it would have been good. The French Onion soup was really good. Nice rich and the cheese was perfectly melted. My wife ordered the Cuban sandwich which was really good. They just need to figure out how to not overcooked their burgers.

Solid pick in the downtown Grand Rapids area. Excellent selection of beer as well as food including pub fare classics. Seemed to draw a large crowd for dinner. By the time I left on a Wednesday night the place was packed. I would recommend it of you were looking for a regular classic pub meal.

Randomly came across this place after a comedy show, glad I did. Great Beer selection, lots of TVs for sports, and the food was fantastic and cook to my specifications. Shelby was my bartender/server, she was extremely friendly, helpful, and fast with her service, she was amazing!

Great atmosphere and service. Food and drinks were great. I’m so bummed I can’t remember our waitresses name because we heard there’s a contest and if we mentioned their name it helps them. She had the cutest little quilted vest on with snowflakes and a white hairband. Please give her credit..it’s not her fault my memory sucks I strongly recommend Brick and Porter!

Server was great atmosphere was stellar!! The food had the potential to be great but it was cold my bill was over a hundred and my 3 year old daughter got burnt black chicken tenders witch was replaced with fresh ones a small recommendation would be to add some fresh garlic to the spinach artichoke dip and maybe serve hot food or temp the food going out because It was definitely cold!!

Great place to grab a drink and and some food. We stopped after a movie for dessert and drink for a birthday. Great options, clean and fast. JJ was on top of everything and answer all our questions for the first time going. We can’t wait to go back for dinner. We came with a group of 6.

Food was pretty good, the nachos had great topping layering and made a bit of a mess. The dessert was my favorite part, Cookie Butter Banana Pie ❤️

Dog Friendly patio with a few notes. Public sidewalks aren’t always the cleanest and my dog definitely found some of those long toothpicks used to pin a sandwich. There are only bar height tables, meaning your further from easy correction or control for learning pups. There was a dog bathroom station within 30 feet, which was convenient too.

Amazing place! If you could somehow turn winter into summer, you’d be absolutely unbeatable
Honestly, we came in with the worst mood possible — earlier that day we got into a car accident and damaged our car. We just wanted to save the day with some beer and food. We found this place through ChatGPT as one of the spots with the best burgers in Grand Rapids… but let’s be real, ChatGPT talks a lot of nonsense sometimes, so we didn’t expect much at all.
Then the best thing happened — our waitress came over and somehow managed to turn our miserable mugs into actual smiling faces. She genuinely lifted our mood. We followed her burger recommendation, and it was a perfect choice.
My friend was so impressed with the service (and her smile) that she basically financially ruined him for $20 in tips Totally worth it though.
We walked out full, happy, and feeling like the day was actually saved.
We’ll definitely be back!
