Enjoyed our dinner here. Made a reservation for a party of 5, which included 4 adults and a baby/stroller. Attentive and friendly service. Charged $20 corkage fee. Most of the food was tasty. The soup was really good and the pasta was great. I’m giving it 4 because space was a little tight for us, the table was clearly for 4 people. Also, they warned us something was wrong in the kitchen so it would be smoky inside, and it was, not a big deal but worth calling out. Not sure if always the case. The bread service they charge for and needs to be improved.

We made a reservation the day after Thanksgiving. The food was authentic and delicious! The atmosphere made us feel like part of the community. We even had a chance to talk with the restaurant owner before we left — he was friendly and very personable. We were really grateful to have found this restaurant.
*Side note:* We had Thanksgiving at Sam’s Club at Indian Springs Resort, and the experience was the complete opposite.

This was a luxury experience. The staff is so kind and welcoming! The owner offered to get us mocktails (served by Marco!) since some of us at the party couldn’t drink. They were amazing! The entire menu is to die for, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. My family and I had the bruschetta special and beef carpaccio for appetizers; the saltimbocca, lasagna, and linguine for entrees; and the lava cake, gelato, and tiramisu for dessert.
Would definitely recommend if you are in the area! Just be prepared to make a reservation due to how busy this place is! Also be prepared for the parking situation since this place is smack dab in the middle of downtown.

Bricco’s narrow dining room of snug tables and walls decorated with intentionally (?) off-kilter paintings of Italian scenes is inviting. Good selection of popular Italian dishes. Good service. Enjoyable experience.

After being seated late (45 minutes after our reservation) the whole vibe in the restaurant was complete chaos. We never actually had anyone take our order we had to find someone to tell them what we wanted. And the food we got was probably the worst Italian food we have had. We all had separate dishes but somehow all looked the exact same. All was over coated with orange pasta sauce..
After we finally got seated and to make up for overbooking (we were not the only group who stood outside for 30-45 minutes past our reservation) they served us this dry bread with a couple olives in the middle. Not sure what that was suppose to be. Then we ordered wine which we had to ask multiple people for glasses for the bottle they left on the table. After we poured our own glasses since the staff was running around with juke boxes playing birthday music instead of serving us we started on the appetizer which was calamari. I am pretty sure this is what kept us up all night. Everyone once and while we would bite into something that did not taste like it should or was ready to be eaten.
For my main I got chicken parm. The chicken was so tough I couldn’t cut through it. Almost certain it was frozen before it was heated up. This was soaked in a soup like orange pasta sauce with a side of large pasta noodles and a salad on top of the liquid soup sauce on the plate. The other two guest had two different pasta that again were in an orange pasta sauce. I would say by the time we sat down, waited to be served and finally got our food we could only muster a few bites even being as hungry as we were. Sadly this was a huge disappointment from start to finish.

We enjoyed our experience at this charming little restaurant. The Italian-inspired music and decor create a cozy ambiance, though the style has a unique Mexican twist, which adds an interesting cultural blend. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making for a welcoming atmosphere.
The food was tasty overall—both the salad and dessert were satisfying, even if they didn’t quite reach exceptional levels. Due to the small size of the space, it can get quite lively and noisy, making it less suitable for a romantic or relaxed evening. Nonetheless, it’s a great spot for a casual meal with good service.

The service at Bricco is impeccable in addition to the great food. Marco was our waiter and he was thoughtful and attentive. They have a great wine list that the waiter knew how to navigate well (even recommending us a better bottle than we chose). We had the antipasto plate, risotto special, and lasagna. All were fabulous and great portions. Highly recommend!

A nice gem on the main road of Calistoga. Ali the owner was friendly and enthusiastic from checking in to saying goodbye. Came on a busy Friday evening. A big party at the back was celebrating birthday. So there was a bit of a delay even with reservation. However the food was so good it was worth the unexpected wait. We had time to observe the chefs at open kitchen serving mouth watering dishes. After we are seated dinner was quickly served. Started with a hearty broccolini soup, crispy calamari, eggplants and fresh salads. Seafood Linguine in a tasty tomato based sauce, textured Lasagna and pan-fried medium rare steak were all excellent. We were offered Prosecco while waiting at the bar and we ordered another round to pair with the delicious meal. Our server Jade made great food recommendations. She revealed that most dishes were made from scratch by their experienced chefs. After an hour of gastronomic experience we were full but not stuffed. We must come back and try their risotto and desserts next time. Hopefully sometime soon.

Luckily we were hungry when we walked in – the portions were huge. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He recommended the bruschetta, which turned out crispy and delicious! It was a good dinner, with everything perfect. The food, the people and the vibes. Must visit while in Calistoga!
