Second visit to Brian’s place, and it didn’t miss a beat. The food was exceptional across the board. The grouper was cooked perfectly, and the ahi tuna dinner was a standout. The mussels were good, though I did ask for extra lemon as they were a bit mild for my taste.
What really stood out was the teamwork. You could feel it. The manager stopped by to check on us, and our server, Tessa, was fantastic—relaxed, attentive, and never rushed us. Her recommendations were honest and spot-on, which made the experience even better.
On my previous visit, I had the filet mignon, and it was phenomenal—easily on par with some of the best fine-dining steakhouses I’ve been to.
One small suggestion: the sauce paired with the ahi tuna wasn’t bad, but I think it could be even better. A wasabi-forward sauce with a touch of ponzu might elevate the dish. Just a thought from a guest—not a chef.
I’ll absolutely be back. I came back and had the chicken with mozzarella, string beans and potatoe all cooked with excellent flavor. Ny fiends had the special flank steak and slamon and loved it. Our server Nick was great! Loved seeing the manager again.

My boyfriend and I love finding hidden gems when we travel, and Brian’s Place in Spring Hill was an absolute HIT. We do our research to find the best experiences, and this one delivered in every way!
The ambience is calming and upscale without feeling pretentious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive — huge shout-out to Toni, our amazing server, who made us feel so welcome, and Matt, the floor manager, who checked in personally to make sure everything was perfect and engage us in great conversation.
I had the crispy salmon and my boyfriend had the swordfish special. Both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. And as if that wasn’t cool enough, the original guitarist from Steppenwolf was performing solo while we dined!
Dessert was next-level! The chocolate layer cake was rich but not overly sweet, and the limoncello mascarpone cake was fluffy, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. We also tried a few cocktails. The Alchemist was aromatic and smooth (booze without the bite!), and the Espresso-Lantern was dangerously delicious (not pictured).
If you’re anywhere near Spring Hill, do yourself a favor and go to Brian’s Place. It’s a true hidden gem — amazing food, amazing people, and an experience you won’t forget!

We left an event and these two lovely hostesses met us leaving our cars at Brian’s Place to hand us early bird coupons. What a bonus that was! Who doesn’t love a bonus special? We love ❤️ them! My friend prints in her monthly flyer for Brian’s Place with weekly coupons. Always watch for them. Definitely worth it! There wasn’t an unfriendly staff member in the building. Even one that came off sarcastic to me, Matt the assistant, later came over to apologize. I naturally accepted that because he appeared genuine. We had a wonderful server named Brittiany! The servers from the kitchen were fabulous! The food was fantastic! The couple we were with had never been here so it was a great experience for them. Brian himself came and sat with us for a photo. He checked on all his tables to make sure everyone was happy. He spent time with us to share his hurricane experiences and the rebuilding process! He is a outstanding chef and business owner! He cares about his business and his employees. They told us personally and yes, I am one to ask!!!! Brittiany was outstanding and always made sure we had what we needed before we could ask! That is what a good server is all about! Not everyone belongs in a position like this! They all deserve great pay, fantastic tips that are earned and bosses that always respect them! That is how you keep your team working hard for you! Loyalty is hard to come by and it works both ways! God bless you Brian, Matt, Brittiany and entire Brian’s place team!!! Make 2026 even better!!!!

After seeing the great food and location online, my partner and I finally made it in, and I can’t believe we didn’t come sooner. The staff was genuinely all so friendly, and seemed to really want to help and be there. The food was fantastic, their early dinner special portions are still large, and the desserts were unbelievable. I don’t know the last time there was more than 5 dessert options, and all were unique and not store bought. I highly recommend getting a reservation for a great date night. We ate at 4pm on a week night, and there were a few other tables taken, but by the time we left at 5pm it was starting to get busier. They have a large parking lot adjacent to the building, and outdoor or indoor seating. Highly recommend for waterfront dining, outdoor patio, cocktails, and a great menu in Pasco or Hernando County.

Cannot say enough about Brian’s Place. From the GM Matt to our amazing server Brittiany to Brian stopping by himself, everything was top notch. If you are looking for an amazing atmosphere and the best food, service and cocktails, you will not be disappointed. We were even lucky enough to find the Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Definitely worth a trip to Hernando Beach if you aren’t local.

Exceptional fine dining in Hernando Beach!
Brian’s Place delivers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, flavorful and beautifully presented. And the pesto shrimp martini? Out of this world. It’s one of those dishes you think about long after you’ve left the restaurant.
The atmosphere is warm and upscale without feeling pretentious, and the service is just as impressive. The entire staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Every visit feels special.
If you’re looking for elevated cuisine in Hernando Beach, Brian’s Place is hands-down the place to go. A true five-star gem!

My boyfriend and I love it here! We went the other week for my birthday and the food was phenomenal as always! The pork shank appetizer was so delicious and our wild caught salmon special was perfect. Our waiter, Pancho, was awesome! Brian and his staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful night for us❤️
The photo is from another day we came and sat by the water, so nice to see the wildlife out there!

First and last time coming here. Went with our ladies group for early dinner. 5 oz sirloin served cut caused it to be dry (all juices ran out) and cold. 1 scoop of cold mashed potatoes and about 10 green beans. Salad was a handful of spring mix with a few garbanzo beans and cranberries. Definitely not worth the $17. Have gotten twice as much at a steak house. Best thing was the rolls.
Our server was great. He’s what got the 2 stars.
Dining room was almost empty but we were 5 people put at a 4 person table.

I’ve heard so much good about this place and it’s all true!!! Not only were we treated like royalty, we were fed like royalty. I asked opinions and ordered what was suggested and couldn’t be happier. The place is very tiny, but after we ate we went to the outdoor seating for my man to smoke one of their cigars they sell and let out bellies settle. We will for sure be back to try more food. Oh and the portions are so good I have leftovers for tomorrow.
