Went in the late afternoon. Not too busy. Our waitress was kind but she kind of disappeared towards the end of our meal. Not sure if she went on brak, the restroom, or etc. Had to flag down another waitress to get to-go drinks for us. She did it but I could tell she wasn’t happy serving someone else’s table.

All of the wait staff is kind, courteous, and hardworking except for a rather boorish, tattooed-up, foul-mouthed waitress named Angelina. She took a long time to wait on us, then when she finally got around to us, she brought us our drinks, then went to another booth and talked to those customers and turned her back on us. But she was quite loud and I heard her dropping f-bombs and taking the Lord’s name in vain. I had to tell another waitress that we were ready to order, so she nudged Angelina, who finally came over and took our order. She then went to another booth and continued her curse festival loud enough for me to hear. When she finally brought our food to us it was cold, probably because she let it sit for a long time before bringing it to us. Needless to say, I left her no tip because she didn’t earn one (I normally tip quite well, especially for good service). I expressed my concern to the cashier, and she seemed to agree. Don’t get me wrong, Brian’s is a great local business, but Angelina DEFINITELY a fly in the ointment! I may go back, but I refuse to allow Angelina to be our waitress!

The Waitress we had wasn’t as friendly towards us and the other customers. She asked every table around us did they want ice cream but when we was about to leave she just threw our bill on the table and walked away. I don’t mind her just “doing her job” but at least me us feel welcomed

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!! As a air force military family still serving we deserve better! We called the Rocky Mount non-emergency police number and I was told an officer would have been sent right over but I didn’t keep my receipt that I left sitting on the counter beside food I didn’t order. I just wanted to get far away from that place as I could. We left with no food or money after I brought it to the cashier’s attention that I didn’t order a low carb chicken cheesesteak or chili cheese fries which are specific items that I never said by phone with active duty husband listening during our pick up order by phone. The order that was on the grill ticket taped to the bag listed was low carb chicken cheesesteak and chili cheese fries that was handed to me. We was charged over 20 dollars and paid in full as I politely waited for our food we ordered or was never asked to make it. The cashier stood behind register and I felt ignored right before I walked out. Prior to leaving I brought it to the cashier’s attention that I didn’t order the food specified on the grill ticket taped to the bag that was handed to me and the cashier said they can’t give a refund for food already prepared. Keep your receipt!!! The cashier also said they stuck me up here in my presence. The cashier had time to tell other customers behind me reason I got discount was I paid with cash and they are using a card and they are leaving with a full belly handing them change and saying well your not broke. Military discount can be used with cash or card and we have lived across the pond that’s a entitlement we have earned and should not be underminded. I also ordered two small pepsi products by phone after being asked would I like to add on something to drink and when I asked for the drinks I was told no I didn’t by the cashier and I said yes I did. The cashier then said well you ordered a water and diet pepsi. I then left everything there with no intent to return without a officer. Will not recommend or return.

This was our second trip to Brians, this time we had take out….. The cheese steak was great, not too greasy, lots of well seasoned meat and the cheese and mushrooms were delicious. The Reuben was good but very greasy(the bread) couldn’t tell if it was overly buttered or what, but it was still good.

Food is excellent for the price point. Staff was just lovely. Wings were cooked very well. cheese steak meat was everything it should be. The carb friendly option was simple but delicious.

Stopped here for lunch one day last week. Service was fast, friendly and professional. The cheese steak and french fries were good. Good size portions and good prices. Will definitely stop here again.

I ordered the original cheesesteak and lemonade. It was probably the best cheesesteak I’ve had in a very long time. Hot and very filling. I will definitely eat from here again when I travel this way!!!!
