We have driven by here so many times but never stopped. Recently read a review that the onion rings are the best. That statement is completely true. Hubby had a Plain Jane burger as he likes it-cheese, ketchup, and mustard. I had the cod fish tacos with the house salad with ranch dressing. Both were excellent. Service was great. Definitely coming back.

Great bar & grill! All the food we have tried here has been delicious! The fried mushrooms are great, but I would like to comment that the fried pickles would be perfect if they were not salted. Pickles are already salty, so please don’t salt the batter. We will be back again. We have introduced this location to several family & friends as well. Everyone keeps going back.

Charged 10% extra to take home a Togo order. Why? This is not San Antonio. That was the owners excuse to why she does charge the extra 10%. First she said it goes to the servers because people don’t tip. By doing this, she disincentives people who are ordering togo orders to not tip because they’re already paying extra anyway. Then she changed her story to the 10% being for the supplies (Togo box, Togo plastic wear, etc.,) for the todo order. Why? As a business, you should already have these expenses calculated into your food cost for that very reason. Then she told us it’s what they do in San Antonio as well as the extra money going towards the staff because they make sure that we get all the dressings and so on. Which is a part of their job to begin with. Most of the time all the extra amenities aren’t even in there because they forget. Owner was very rude and snappy. She told us if we don’t like it we don’t need to come back and eat there. Ok you got it. Haven’t been there since. Honestly, I feel really bad for the staff that has to deal with her. she seems very difficult to work with and a difficult person in general. Oh and they don’t pick up their phone.

GREAT burgers and excellent, professional and cheery service. The Brew Burger is HUGE! And, for a well-done burger, it was surprisingly juicy.
The fries have gotten better — lots better. And the onion rings, while a bit greasy, were excellent. You could bite into one and not have the whole onion come out, you know?

The fries have gotten better — lots better. And the onion rings, while a bit greasy, were excellent. You could bite into one and not have the whole onion come out, you know?

The food was pretty good, however service was very slow. It seemed like there was only one server on a Friday during lunch time, it took around 30 minutes for our first order to come out and the appetizer we ordered well beforehand came out with the rest of the food we had ordered later on. It took around an extra 15 minutes on top of that for the rest of the food to get there, we had no refills on drinks as well as one of the drinks being wrong and brought a while after everyone at the table got theirs. We showed up around 11:40-11:50 and left around 1pm, nobody told us anything about the wait times and had we known we probably would’ve left. We probably should have left considering there was a huge brown roach on the back of our paper towels, but with the expense of the food we figured it would be better to just eat and leave. Otherwise our server was very nice she just seemed very rushed and spread thin for a busier time of day, just wish it could’ve been better. Overall not a great experience and probably won’t eat here again.

The food was delicious. I had a hamburger without the bun and it was awesome. They were accommodating with my gluten-free allergy and served with a smile! We will definitely be back on a Sunday again after church.

My wife and I were staying nearby at Kerrville-Scheiner Park when we decided to bike down to Brewdawgz for a late lunch. We both enjoyed a beer from their fairly long list of both tap and bottled brews. We ordered chips, queso, and salsa. I can say much for it. The queso is nothing but Velveeta. The salsa wasn’t special. My burger and onion rings were another story. It was very good, as was my wife’s shrimp and salad. I had the Baby Brew ( the 1/4 lb version of another larger one). They have a wide range of meal options ranging from salads to full steak dinners. The atmosphere was good. They have a pool table and sports on several screens around the restaurant. Our server was professional and attentive. If you’re in the area, they are definitely worth a try.
