My girlfriend saw online that Matt Jaye was performing live at Pub & Oles, in Burlington, Wi. The places was packed! We got the last table We ordered the Blackberry cosmo (live review… it’s currently fantastic she says). I ordered the Smoked almond old fashioned. It is genuinely smoked before your eyes. The bartender is on point and the balance is unexpected due to the price. A beverage like this could fetch $30. I paid $14…. Do your self a favor. Show up for music, show up in silence, just show up. This is a perfect spot for a date night. The moody atmosphere, with its dim lighting and modern aesthetics, creates a cosy ambiance. The menu offers unique options that set it apart from other local restaurants. While the shrimp tacos were a bit disappointing, the drinks and the rest of the food were excellent. The friendly and speedy service added to the overall experience.

This place has easily the top 5 Cheese Curds I’ve had in Wisconsin, and certainly a contender for the top 3. The portion size is more than ample for twelve bucks.
They have local beer on tap (albeit more than you can get it from around the corner). (Low Daily! Drink local!).
Large bar top with somewhat limited seating, you may find yourself waiting for a table of 4 on a weeknight. It’s worth the wait.
I got the house burger, it was great, although it only came with one strip of bacon. The crinkle cut fries were well seasoned, extra crispy and delicious!
My wife got the chicken tenders. Be advised, one order of the $16 chicken tenders includes 2 tenders. They were fat and juicy, wife gave them a 7/10. Chicken itself was ok, breading/seasoning was very good.
They had an extensive bourbon selection at the bar ,bhowever no immediate pricing was given.
Live music on this particular Thursday evening in the summer, made the environment quite loud.

Love brew and Ole’s! Beautiful place to dine and drink. Friendly staff and great food. Tonight we ordered the Ribeye…. Do not pass this dish up, it was absolutely delicious. Hands down beats some of the best steakhouses. Perfectly cooked and absolutely amazing potatoes and beans.

The food menu is a decent size. However, food options seemed expensive to me. The beer selection isn’t the best for a gastropub. It’s okay, but I’ve been to some with a lot more options and styles of beer. The service was good and the food tasted good as well. I ordered the Wedge salad, I enjoyed the salad, and the bacon was quality, but be prepared to cut your own salad…it comes out half uncut for some reason. The atmosphere is nice and they had live music, which was an added bonus. It’s important to note, there’s a possibility you may have to wait for a table if you go at prime time – dinner time on a Saturday. There was a 30-minute wait for a table for our party of 2, but we ended up just taking the 2 remaining open seats at the bar so we could be served right away. Though I mentioned some areas of improvement, overall, I recommend you try this place out!

Stopped in for the first time with friends during Burlingtons Light Up The Night. We liked it so much that we returned the following weekend . We met the owner & had a great conversation. ( You can tell Diane takes great pride in her establishment!)

We just had a fantastic evening. Our server, Sydney, was wonderful. The cheese kurds were light and also plentiful. We barely finished them between the four of us. Our sandwiches were all great. The drinks were good and since we were there during happy hour, reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy, but not over crowded. We were seated immediately and never had to wait for our food. They did a GREAT JOB!

Our group of 5 went here for brunch. There was no wait to be seated. I had the bulldog breakfast and enjoyed everything but the tart tasting jelly that was served with it. The kids menu pancake did not disappoint and it also came with mixed berries, which was a welcomed surprise. One of my guests had an issue with her order. It was remedied and a discount was given. The restaurant appeared clean and offered a great environment for conversation.
