Buffalo chicken sandwich! Ohhh I love a good buffalo chicken sandwich and this was it. Jacob recommended this over the street tacos and I don’t think he has as wrong!
Absolutely popping environment with a great indoors area and outdoor seating. Outdoor space was limited but hey, it’s there ♂️
The beers were great. I did the flight and settled in with the Science 101.
Great place for a good time!

The service is VERY SLOW , we waited 20 minutes before even getting a menu then another 10 for drink orders to be taken when my husband gave up waiting and ordered our stuff from the bar . BESIDES that when we did have staff checking on us they were apologetic and quick to bring back drinks, aside from what seems to be a lack of staff or some type of staffing issue the food was fantastic the beers were amazing , and the atmosphere was very chill and we felt comfortable having our two kids with us .We’ll probably be back because the food was great and hopefully they’ll have more staff.

Quite little pub, came for restaurant week! Was great, portions were plenty for both of us to share with each other! Truffle parm fries are great so are the garlic cheese curds. Hubs got the Rueben and onion rings, I got the cheesesteak with fries, also got the bang bang shrimp- all was good. If we’re back up this way would definitely come in and try something new.

First the good, my burger was yummy, my husband really enjoyed his salmon, and the parmesean truffle fries were amazing. The bad, the garlic cheese cuts curds were way overcooked, they tasted like they would be good if they actually had cheese in them, but most of it cooked out, and they were so dark and stuck together. Sweet potato fries were also over cooked. This time I asked for ones that weren’t and they brought me back now burnt ones. I finished my water and then my husband’s water bc we weren’t getting refilled. Seems like they may have been short staffed. Service very slow. I could deal with the slow service if the food was not so overcooked.

BrewLab is such a great place and we’re lucky to have it in downtown OP. Their beer never disappoints and the food is fantastic. The food menu is huge so there are plenty of selections. Everything we ordered was great but I was especially impressed with the jalapeno cole slaw!
When we arrived, they had a large crowd with most of the tables taken. We were a little worried about how long it would take to get drinks. However the staff was excellent and working hard. We didn’t wait long at all for them to take our order and bring our drinks. The food came out quickly as well. They also had a Trivia/Bingo game going on which was fun. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Good food, interesting beers, it wasn’t too busy when we came for lunch with kids. Neither of two burgers was cooked “medium”, like the waitress said it was normally done, they both were “well done”, but still flavorful. Service was great. French fries were great. Fish was beer batter fried, which is not something I prefer but even though it was greasy it wasn’t bad. Overall good, I would come back here again

Really enjoyed it! I visited on a Thursday and they had a good crowd for bingo and the bar staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice beer selection that has several high in ABV and some sours/goses as well. I particularly enjoyed the Science 101 cream ale and the Thirst Trap saison was good as well. Great location and a fun atmosphere. I have a feeling I’ll be back!

The Grain room is perfect for groups/gatherings! The owner is amazing to coordinate with and the pricing of the venue is fantastic. My friends and I love to attend trivia at Brew Lab. I’ve attended work parties there as well, and everyone always finds something new they love!!

I need to go back and experience more of it to give it a more thorough review, but for now I’ll go with four stars. We could only stop in briefly so I was unable to really look over the menu or try an main meal. I did order the pretzels. First of all, there are a ton of them! A huge basket, which I like. However, they give you very little dip, it is quite disproportional. It should be noted the pretzels are fried (more than you expect). But I liked how crispy the exterior and tender the interior was. I tried a flight of beers and quite liked the majority of them. Service was quick and pleasant. There’s a variety of seating, including some outdoor seating. The entrance is semi-accessible. There’s accessible parking as there’s plenty of lots, spots, street parking all around the building. Restrooms are accessible.

Haven’t been to BL in a long while, but it appears to be heading in a positive direction!
Compared to prior visits, service/staffing seems to have improved significantly. Jake and the newer server Cynnamon were great and made sure everybody got what they needed.
Appetizers were on point, beers were as solid as usual, and the new Chiefs game day specials were an appreciated value! The expanded selection of canned craft beer was a nice surprise, as was the abolishment of the iceless, self service water situation (my chief complaint before).
We are looking forward to coming back, especially for game days.
