Being a lover of puns I had to try this place. Was in no way disappointed. Was in on a slow weeknight, so the owner was tending bar and cooking herself. Had the squash bisque, super velvety texture. Love their fries too. Simple and very delicious, not like the new trend of trying too hard to season fries. Great beer selection. Impressive a’la mode portion lol!

Service was very slow. I waited over a hour for a takeout order and mind you they were not busy. The fish fry wasn’t anything spectacular. The highlights were definitely the potato pancakes. Fresh and delicious. The burgers were also great. No frozen patties there. Handmade and seasoned to perfection.

Very nice pub and eatery. Staff is friendly and fun. Their Friday fish fry is a local favorite. Serving 3 different types of fish, including baked. They also serve potato pancakes or fries along with bread and homemade coleslaw. Great place to enjoy a drink and a night out.

Went for the Friday Fish Fry, it was fantastic… The service was fast and very courteous! Had my Walleye, Perch and Cod cooked my choice of three ways. Of course I chose it beer battered, and with one of my favorite beers on tap, LAKEFRONT IPA on tap I had to give it all 5 stars…!

So far, my family tried the Friday Fish Fry and the burgers, VERY GOOD! My husband said it’s one of the best burger he’s ever had! The beer cheese soup with prezel bites was really good too! We’re happy we found a place close to home and can’t wait to try out more menu items. I heard rumors that they might start delivering in the future, if that’s true, that would be AWESOME!!!! BTW the owner is active on social media and like to hear from the community, that’s great to see too. He personally thanks us when we pick up our orders. Great place all around!

Ordered the Sunday pizza special for takeout. Excellent thin crust with an abundance of toppings (loved the authentic sausage) and ready exactly when they said it would be. As with all of the offerings we have tried here it was definitely a step or two above traditional “bar food”.

We went for a fish fry a month or so ago & had to wait over an hour for food. The owner let us know that the food would be a while and offered buy one get one free appetizers. The fish was pretty good, as were the appetizers. Will likely visit again

Came here for the first time tonight, after reading such great reviews about the place. I planned to have their baked cod fishfry….and was told they were out of baked cod. At 7pm on a Friday night. Seriously? And their pizza maker is broken. Again, SERIOUSLY? How does a place like this plan so poorly for one of their most popular meals & on one of the busiest nights of the week. Needless to say, I will NOT be back to this place.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for chicken wings which arrived luke warm at best. Service wasn’t very good either. Dont waste your time going here. Travel the extra 2 miles to Kelly’s bleachers Big Bend where the food is fantastic and service is prompt and friendly.
