Located just off the square in downtown McKinney. They have recently expanded to allow seating inside the bakery. They offer a wide range of breads, pastries, and coffee. They even do Pizza on Friday nights. I picked up a few items to take home for the family. I got the toasted almond croissant, Pain au Chocolat, Banana nut muffin with chocolate chips, Cinnamon roll, and Chocolate chunk cookie. Everything was outstanding. Clearly fresh made with great ingredients and bakers that know what they are doing. Their bread selection is amazing as well and I will try next time. This is a great place to have so close to home and the Square. It’s a must stop and you can pre-order to avoid some of the wait. They can get busy because it’s so good.

Searched last minute a nearby pastry shop and ended up here! The COFFEE is seriously DELICIOUS! These espresso beans might be my new favorite! And love that they make their syrup in house! Also, I recommend the PEPPERONI PIZZA! I’ve been to NYC and this pizza might be better than the ones I’ve had their If you’re in the area (or not haha) I highly suggest you make the time to visit this 10/10 Coffee and pastry shop! My coffee order was an iced vanilla latte half sweet and every sip was perfection! The employees were also so very nice!

Best bakery in town. I’m so happy it’s close by. My personal favorites are the quiche and coffee cake – but the breads are to die for! We recently ordered the Thanksgiving pumpkin pie which was a hit!

Love how this bakery has expanded to add a lovely cosy dining area. Their products are absolutely A+ and I love to support their business as a patron and fellow McKinney coffee shop owner. Having a Bacon and Swiss Quiche with a cappuccino for breakfast this morning.

Love this spot! Kind owners and staff. Great ham & cheese croissant and the chocolate almond croissant. We also picked up a broccoli & cheddar quiche for the holidays and it was fantastic. Will definitely be a staple for weekends!

Bresnan is one of our favorite bakeries to go to in DFW. It has a great location in McKinney Square where you can walk up to it from anywhere there. They usually sell out pretty quick on the weekends and there’s always a line but it’s definitely worth it to get there early.
Our favorite things to get are the seasonal danishes. Yuzu citrus, blueberry, and pistachio are among our go-tos. They have the best sourdough we’ve had here. We go for the country sour (oval) and the inside is very airy and springy while the crust is very crunchy. It has the perfect balance and tastes so good straight up or toasted with butter and honey.
It’s always a great experience going here and it really does feel like a European neighborhood bakery serving up high-quality pastries and breads with a Texas twist.

Went an hour out of my way to check this place out. Coffee, got a cappuccino, exceptionally bitter. I literally threw most of it away. Blueberry cheese danish, not bad but too much cream cheese to dough ratio. Rather than cream cheese I would have loved a pastry cream filled danish with fruit. Cream cheese just too heavy for me. Dough was good though. Country loaf, not terrible but looks like the chef is trying for a Tartine style loaf but misses the mark. A little on the dense side but again, not terrible. Nice little location but music was a bit too loud for me. Overall good. If I’m in the area again I’ll try it out again.

One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to. House made syrups are all excellent. My go to is usually the iced salted caramel latte and the cream cheese danish. All the staff is very nice and the indoor space is large for groups/studying.

I’ve seen the line outside of this place for years and finally checked it out! Despite the line, they are pretty quick and once you order it won’t take long.
There are a wide variety of pastries, savory snacks, and breads that sells quickly as the day goes on due to popularity and demand, so the earlier you get there the better!
When they have sourdough left over from the day before they mark it down 25% off! That was super exciting to see as I’ve been wanting to try it, but also it’s a HUGE loaf and I’m only one person. I’ve gotten a couple now when they were on sale and I immediately put half in the freezer when I get home.
Really, I love trying everything on a menu and so far I’ve not been disappointed. I know some of the items would taste even better if I heated them up, I just don’t have the patience lol.
After 11, they sell pizza by the slice. When I came at that time it smelled SO GOOD even around the corner, and I’m really looking forward to trying it.
They also have these coolers with sandwhiches, MEGA slices of cheesecakes, and more.
It’s a really neat place where you can see all the workers doing their thing (they stay busy cuz there’s a lot to bake!!) Seriously, it’s been hard to keep myself from going back every day.
Edit: the more things I try, the more I am in love. Added some pictures! There was this sandwhich that was marvelous and this fig pastry has beautiful presentation
More: bacon egg and cheese biscuit is where it is at. I specifically come during the week to get these! They sell out around 9:30am, so make sure to get their early. They are BIG. Photo does not do it justice.

I had a cold brew with milk & a croissant with the peach blackberry basil galette. Very flaky and buttery. Kind of expensive but I love the small business vibes. The pizza was a specialty item apparently I didn’t get it but I snapped a pic for the review! Will be back. Coffee was fresh even chilled. So many different pasties, cakes, danishes, etc. service was attentive.
