BRED’s sole mission is to spread love and familiarity through food. We are known for our signature smoked burgers and innovative sandwiches as well as our all fruit smoothies and loaded fries. We opened our first location in the Lower Mills section of Dorchester in the winter of 2015. After 10 years, we have opened up our second home in Kendall Square MIT!

Didn’t know what to expect, it looked like a cross between a take out window and an airport lounge. The food was a little pricey but it might be due to the fact that it’s in Kendall square so it’s meant for the corporate baddies. The appetizers were really good: the spicy jerk wings and the loaded fries. The burgers/sandwiches were extremely messy and just okay. However, the server was really nice and friendly.

I was a bit surprised to find myself the only one at the restaurant for lunch aside from the staff + bartender’s partner. I sat at the bar since I was dining solo. Bartender did not know what was the rotating draft and just gave me a pour. I ultimately ordered a different beer, he poured it, then proceeded to tell me 2 minutes later that they ran out of the beer I ordered and what I was given was a different IPA. I kept it.
I ordered the 504 chicken sandwich with truffle parmesan fries. Neither were salty enough, but the chicken was dark meat, so it wasn’t dry. The 504 sauce was great, but since the chicken wasn’t salty enough, it was all I tasted, making the chicken seem like it had no flavor at all.
Atmosphere-wise I can see this being a great spot for Happy Hours or as a group, so I’d definitely try again with friends. As solo diner, however, this was the most expensive lunch I’ve had in my 10 years dining solo in KSq, so I probably won’t be coming back by myself anytime soon.

Super chill yet chic restaurant. My partner and I went in for lunch. We ordered the Waygu Burger, truffle fries, and the Jerk Honey chicken wings and it was all so delicious. It was real chicken wings, not party wings. They were meaty and super flavorful. The burger was cooked to perfection, the secret sauce with the jam combination was superb. I literally ate the whole burger at the table. Today, I wish I had bought another burger to take home. We were in Boston for a couple of days and wanted to support a local business and it was well worth it. Will visit again with our whole family.

I went here for a holiday party and it was great! The food being served was very tasty. We had the plantains, wings, fried calamari and they were all really delicious. I got a lychee martini and it was STRONG but still has that fruity floral flavor of lychee which I love. I would go here again for a nice dinner with friends.

Brought a large group here a few weeks ago and had a really positive experience. Tony and Sebastian were more than welcoming to us, and the food was absolutely delicious. Happy Hour food deals make it the place to be in Kendall after 3pm!!

Food was good. There was a language barrier, so ordering and receiving g what I truly wanted didnt connect. Overall, what I had tasted good, just not what I wanted. Beignets were delicious and the highlight of the meal. I ordered them prior to the happy hour ending but was charged full price. The language barrier made it not even worth mentioning.
