Breakfast Place is one of those diners that’s been there forever, you walk in & they tell you to grab a table, have a table in the back for rolling utensils, & everyone seems to know each other. You just know it’s gonna be good. We chose it because it was close to our vet drop off, & now we have a great casual diner to add to our go-to’s list.
My husband had the western omelet (also heard someone else ask for it) & I had a slice of cinnamon French toast with a side of scrambled egg. Scrambled eggs are sorta my litmus test, since their quality can vary soooo much. These were the fluffiest real eggs I’ve ever had. I told our waiter & he asked for me, not surprised – it’s all skill. The French toast was really good, just a good old made at home one. And of course my husband loved his omelet, everything was fresh, & the grits were fresh & hot too! Coffee was typical diner coffee, and came in a stainless steel mug so it stayed hot.
Our waiter was a really sweet guy, can’t remember what his name was, but he checked in on us the right amount & was really personable.
All in all, great diner experience!

Just ate breakfast at this great place. Service was fast and friendly and food was delicious. It’s been there a long time…and I never even knew it, but we’ll be back for sure!

LOVE this little hidden gem!! Great and fast food. Diner type style. Small inside but it seems they do a lot of to go orders as well. Friendly staff and great prices!

Cozy and welcoming spot! My boyfriend and I loved seeing how well the staff worked together to keep everything running smoothly. Even though it was packed, the wait time wasn’t bad at all. The food came out quickly, tasted great, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. Definitely a place worth checking out!!!

Busy but a very short wait. Super prompt table service, homemade style diner food. Crisp vegetables and soft fresh bread. We didn’t want touristy foo foo, we wanted hearty delicious breakfast food, and this delivered. The only negative reviews are from the crotchety miserable elderly. Haha

Absolutely horrible service from one of the waitresses. I can’t remember her name but it was a white lady in her 30s she was so rude to my parents even though the food was good they will never be back. She was talking to them like they were stupid and was incredibly rude when she was in the wrong. She never came by to check on us until she knew we were done. She came with the check and all she said was “well sorry” and walked away. Completely ruined our meal my parents are very kind and work really hard theres no reason for her to treat people that way. Waste of money just to be disrespected like that. I work customer service and on my worst day I never treated anybody like that.

Fast, friendly bare bones classic American small business diner serving some of the most creative omelets on the planet, and each one delicious. A classic American breakfast spot with reasonable prices and efficient friendly staff. Places like this are a national treasure.
Don’t embarrass yourself by coming in asking for gluten-free fussy weirdo food, this is basic diner fare, with the exception of the omelets.

Older white woman who had trouble figuring out weather my bf and I were in line first or the two teenagers who came in after us. She hasd the worst attitude I’ve ever seen from a stranger. We turned around and left. I hadn’t been for a couple years and I’ll never go back. Done with that place.

My wife and I stopped here in our way out of town and it was amazing. I’m a huge breakfast person and loved everything about this place. The atmosphere was great and the staff was nice and it reminds of the breakfast places I went too growing up as a kid. The food was everything that I want breakfast to be. I got the Triple crown omelet with grits and honestly these were some of the best grits I’ve had at a restaurant. My wife got a waffle and it was great as well. We will definitely check this place out on our next trip back to tow.

The Breakfast Place is like a worse Waffle House. It smelled good when we first walked in, but the area our table was in smelled gross.
Here’s what we got:
– Coffee ($1.95): Good.
– 2 Eggs with Meat (bacon), sub hashbrowns ($5.75 + 95¢): Bacon and eggs were fine. Hashbrowns were from a package.
– One Buttermilk Pancake ($1.75): Fine. A little battery in the middle.
– Egg and Cheese Biscuit ($3): The bottom half of the biscuit was very hard and almost impossible to bite into. Egg and cheese were fine.
Service was good and quick! We were in and out in less than 25 minutes.
In Covid times, staff were wearing masks, albeit one employee had hers below her nose. They don’t require masks. There were syrup bottles on the table, which is gross even before coronavirus, but especially gross now.
It was cheap, but the food was less than average. We wouldn’t go back.
