We’ve been coming to Rehoboth almost annually since 1990. But this is the 1st time we’ve needed to be gluten free cautious. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Breakfast Guru in Rehoboth Beach, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was thrilled to discover their extensive gluten-free menu. The care and attention to detail are evident in every dish, especially in their homemade bread, which the owner herself proudly explained to me.
The gluten-free pancakes & Waffles are simply the best I have ever tasted – fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I’m a fruit compote on top is so delicious. You do not even need syrup!! The staff at The Breakfast Guru are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience warm and welcoming. The drinks were also delightful, complementing the delicious food beautifully. Highly recommend the espresso martini and the mimosas.

Hubby, our 17 month old, and I had brunch on a Thursday. We had the bacon delight Benedict, breakfast burrito w/ steak, and kids size of waffle w/ strawberries and sweet cream. It was all delicious, and great portions for the price. The place is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Worth the wait! Food is great – we had the Hammy Benedict and the spinach & ham crepe. Both were well made and the home fries are delicious! This place is on our list of regular haunts for Rehoboth from now on!

We recently visited Breakfast Guru Restaurant & Bar in Rehoboth Beach for breakfast.
We were particularly looking forward to the hollandaise sauce, which was specifically recommended by our waitstaff as one of their best items. However, we found it to be very translucent and lacking the typical creamy, opaque texture expected of hollandaise. This appearance often occurs when there isn’t enough egg yolk to properly emulsify the amount of butter used, or if too much liquid was incorporated, resulting in a thin rather than rich sauce.
The scrapple portion served was notably small. The chocolate chip pancakes contained an excessive amount of chocolate, making them more akin to a solid chocolate item than a pancake with chips. Additionally, the side of potatoes were bland and served cold.
Based on our experience, it’s clear the breakfast isn’t quite at a “guru” level.

Back again and still kicking… This was my comments of the place last year”This place set my weekend mornings! Half block away of the shore. I was in Rehoboth for two days. The first time i was there, I had the steak breakfast. As soon as i had my first bite, i was in love. I knew i had to come back. Then, on the second day i had the breakfast burrito. It was outstanding!
