Fantastic choice! We pulled off the snowmobile trail and had a wonderful dinner. The Turkey Cavatappi soup was divine, the Wild Boar Lasagna was top frickin’ notch and the Chicken Caesar was wonderful too! Jane took great care of us!!! Can’t wait to return.

Was good…
I had bone in wings
Probably would not have them again they were chewy and tough.
Service was very good
There is a highway between the deck and water. Kind of noisy, not what I was expecting..

Very proud to call this our local. We’ve only been here during the winter season, but the energy/spirit doesn’t seem to quiet down no matter what the season. Our family thinks it’s very cool to pull up and see all of the snowmobiles and families gathering at the restaurant like it’s a second home.

The manager and staff were very welcoming and personable. Even though they were busy, they didn’t rush us or leave us hanging.

Everything we ordered was good, too. I went for the chicken wings the first visit, then back for some more on the next. I decided to not go for their hottest sauce (homemade), but got some on the side to kick my buffalo up a few notches.

This place will definitely become a family tradition for our visits to Topinabee.

We visited on a Tuesday in July. There’s a nice dock where boaters can tie up and eat. The view of mullet lake is beautiful. The patio was closed for cleaning. We ate inside. There are old photos of the area on the walls. It was interesting learning about the area. There are tvs everywhere and a digital juke box. They have many beers on tap and old tap handles are hung on the walls. The food was good and so was the service.

Waitress spent time explaining the menu and extensive beer menu.
Food came out quickly, Waitress checked often. Glad I wasn’t disappointed, I have wanted to eat there the last 5 years!

Last week we were sat at a table and had the pleasure of meeting a northern Michigan native named Caleb, a fine young man and a great cook! Our burgers came out hot juicy and perfectly done! (We’re still thinking of them so we had to leave a review) He has our loyalty and I’ll be excited to try more in our future trips down here!

Arrived at late lunch time. Returning from Gaylord. Prime rib sandwich was 21.99. It was 2 small slices of bun with very little meat. It was cold and the auju was also cold. Came with chips…wow way over priced..the back seating section was cold. I mentioned it to our waiter and he said oh well it’s cold everywhere. I thought that was rude. I will never eat there again.

My wife and I stopped by on Monday, due to our regular favorite restaurant being closed for a Christmas party. I’m glad we did…very good food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely keep this place in the mix. Looking forward to stopping by again in 2 weeks.

Really good food, Really good waitress, there were TVs everywhere (which i normally hate seeing in restaurants) but the sound on them was off, so that was a plus. Bathroom was small, but clean. The food was excellent, they make real blue cheese dressing which was excellent. Highly recommend for a good meal. Would go there again.
