Popped in tonight for a little dinner action. Yum! Started with the calamari… which was VERY good! Huge pieces and the aioli it came with to dunk was delicious. We got the Havana (Cuban) and the smash burger which were both awesome and cooked perfectly. The mixed drinks we had were done fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back to intake the rest of the menu. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried yet!

Food was ok. I had a BLT and chips, the chips were homemade but cold. They were pretty good though. The ‘tomato aioli’ was basically ketchup and mayo. Husband had the chicken sandwich and sweet fries and wasn’t a huge fan. The chicken was a bit grizzly and the sweet fries were hard and not great, so he didn’t eat them. Atmosphere is fun and quirky. Service was somewhat slow and it wasn’t crowded at all, our waitress was sweet though.

Brunch at the new Tiki Shak by Breadheads was extra special as the owner (Shane) and I share the same taste in bands. And the server (Marleen) was spot on with our order, and very accomplished in her skills.
And tasty sandwiches he makes very well. This space has been other restaurants, but serving great food and offering entertainment many times each week. All five in our party left full and satisfied.

Popped in after the Western Basketball game. The place has an Main Street vibe infused with eclecticism and authenticity. The food and menu has unique twists on known dishes and they all look amazing. We had the smash burger and I am in love with the Mac-n-Chz nugs with the spicy space sauce. So good!! The Service is impeccable! Cindy at the bar was our server and she is top-notch!! Super sweet and attentive! She had us everything we needed before we even realized needed it. Kept our drinks full. We will be back to try out the rest of the menu… especially the fried pickles!!!

We first encountered Breadheads at the Jackson County Farmer’s Market. Their food was absolutely delicious, and the owners were super nice and personable. So, when I heard they were having a brick and mortar location in downtown Sylva, I was very excited! The Tiki Shak has immaculate vibes, with amazing decorations and comfortable lighting. I got the KC Jones Korean Corn Dogs as an appetizer for me and my partner to share. We really enjoyed them. For my meal, I got the Pass the Cheese, which is something I got when I visited their food truck, and could probably eat every day if I had the choice. It came with steak fries, which are my favorite type of fry. Our server was Paris, who was fantastic and super nice. Everyone working there seemed really happy and cool. The prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of the food. I definitely recommend checking this local place out.

The place was great!!! Super friendly owner and staff and I was told by a Margarita Connoisseur that the bartender makes an awesome Margarita!! (Wish I could remember their name). Food was delicious as well. We will definitely be back next year.

The type of restaurant that sylva needed. It was so good that I stopped eating my food to give this review. Exceptional food, friendly staff, and FAST service.
Huge props to the chef. Whether you want a clean, fresh and healthy meal, or a fried meal full of calories, there is something for you. And it’s all good. I highly recommend the smash burger. In theory it’s simple, but they put an awesome twist on it.
I hope this place grows a lot. It feels unique, but it’s not like they are trying so hard to be hipster that it’s cringe lol. Everything feels authentic. I gave the atmosphere 4/5 stars just because it’s can be pretty loud since the building is smaller. Granted, it’s at night, and it’s a bar! People are having a great time, ya know?

I had a pretty good time here. Fun vibes. A good selection of drinks. The food was a little pricey and not my favorite personally. I still enjoyed it and it seems like they do lots of cool events and the staff were also really nice.
