Such a cute little place! Its very clean and the employees are very inviting and sweet. The pastry girl compliments everybody in line for their delicious food. Yummy breakfast at a reasonable price.

Really lovely spot with wonderful selection of goodies. We went on Sunday for breakfast which was delicious and not too pricey. We then ordered a cookie, a brownie and a healthy cranberry scone to go. We also got one of their cards. The place is really beautiful and the service was prompt, staff was friendly and attentive.

Breadcraft has some of the best pastries and baked goods in Roanoke. The quality is always top notch in the delicacies they produce. I especially love Kouign-Amman Thursdays (it kinda gives me something to look forward to!)

The pastry was good and the lady who seemed to be the one handling the baked goods was nice and informative, she and the pastry is why I’m giving 3 stars. However the girl at the register was another story. She got onto me about the menu even though I told her beforehand this was my first time being here. She seemed to be personally offended that I folded the menu to take home with me. If you don’t want others to take the menu home then I would suggest using actual menus and not ones made out of paper. Maybe have a sign or something if it’s really that big of a deal. So I took 2 stars off for that encounter.

Bread craft is amazing! Their fluffy cheddar cheese biscuits and delectable dessert offerings with a Parisian interior feels make it is the premier bakery – cafe in downtown Roanoke! Wish I took more photos. Any and everyone will love this place!

I had the best croissant in my life here – very flaky crispy crust and a tender but not doughy or mushy inside. One was filled with chocolate and raspberry, which may not always be available. The other was filled with spinach and feta cheeses – much like spanakopita, and was also excellent. There were a variety of breads that looked tempting. The atmosphere and decor was upscale casual, with brick walls, wall art, and granite tables. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They looked like they enjoyed working there! I highly recommend this place. It will be a must stop on my trips through Roanoke.

Was expecting French toast with bacon strips like I saw in the photos. Instead I got bacon bits covered in whipped cream. Wasn’t very good. The chorizo and eggs were in milk. Kind of a weird dish.

Cute little deli that my boyfriend took me to for breakfast once Saturday morning! It’s easy to pass right by this little place without noticing it, but just make sure to put 24 Church Ave. SW into your GPS. We parked on the street as it was just easier than finding a garage or paying to park in a lot. Our breakfast was served hot and delivered to our table by the staff. The home grows were tasty, though I found a tiny piece of eggshell in my omelette, but I realize those things happen occasionally, right? Serving size was plenty enough to satisfy a normal appetite. I’d come back and try their lunch.

Breakfast was excellent. The chocolate croissant flaky and delicious. Lots of tables in a large and chill space. Even the homemade pickles were perfect! Great service.

Overall Bread Craft is great. The croissants are above average, and the coffee (cappuccino in my case) is good, but could be stepped up a bit. I dined in, but was still handed a paper cup. A cup for coffee and a plate for the croissant would elevate the experience on par with what you’d expect of a nice bakery like this. I came for breakfast, but I was told they only serve the menu on the website on Friday. They had prepackaged salads, and pre made sandwiches available. I hope the kitchen opens more days in the future. The offerings looked good. There is a stand in the dining room for Appalachia Press offering a variety of high quality cards. I am not familiar, but assuming it is a local business, it was a great placement here. There are also various photos and art pieces on the wall for sale, all of which looked great. I would certainly come back, go check it out.
