I am a cinamon bun snob. This is the ONLY place I’ve found that has the perfect cinamon buns. I got mine just out of the oven and it was heaven. If you are going to spend calories on a treat, skip the candy aisle, ice cream, and pillsbury nonsense. Bite into pure joy! ❤️

This bakery is a mixed bag. Their baked goods use butter and all genuine ingredients. None of the chemicals you get in some baked goods. Their cookies are rich and delicious. Their bread is not very good. Their baguette was doughy and the sourdough was just OK Their cupcakes have an excellent buttercream icing but so much of it that you can’t appreciate the cake. I have not ordered a cake from here but seen some and they are beautifully done.

Do yourself a favor and stop by Bread and Buttercream for your bread and cake needs. This lemon sponge cake with buttercream icing for my daughters baptism party was a hit! It was very yummy. While we were there to pick it up, we grabbed a loaf of sourdough bread. We used it for sandwiches and with soup. Excellent! Good local business to support!

Some friends came over for dinner and brought with them a loaf of Italian Bread. WOW! The dinner was terrific but the Bread was to die for! It was the best bread that I think that I have ever had. The crust was perfect and it appeared to be hand made. They told me that they had purchased it at the Bread & Buttercream Bakery on Marsh Road. I had never heard of this bakery, but I knew the area. We finished the loaf in the next two days and as soon as I could I went there and purchased another. They have an incredible selection of baked goods. They only make Bagels on Thursdays, Challah and Brioche rolls on Fridays. What a great place and I recommend the Italian bread highly. Light toas and marmalade, yummm.

This was our first time ordering from this bakery. Our intent was to support local businesses. We order a cake for my niece, Maggie’s, 18th birthday. When given the choice for a design, we chose the one the baker showed us on her cell phone. Instead they made us a different design as you can see. When we questioned it, the manager told us that each cake design is different. Ironically this wasn’t told to us initially. Without an apology but a rude response was asked, “ Do you want it or not?!” We were over a barrel because we needed the cake. They had a sign to receive a 4% discount for cash payments. Our 8” round cake was $40. 4% off is $1.60= $38.40 but we were charged $38.46??
